I agree with you on every point. If the Republicans field a RINO, they will lose. I'm hoping they don't, or a viable third party candidate makes a showing. Ed- you can ignore this question if you wish- i am not calling you out. but what candidate would meet your standard for "not a RINO"? There are several. Unfortunately, they all have some other significant issue that makes them non-viable in my mind. As usual, I will not get my "perfect" candidate, and will need to choose the one with whom I am least disgusted...

If only republicans could find a generic candidate instead of the ones they have...... Hey, maybe I will throw my hat in the ring...... I am about as generic as they come. Or is that geriatric? I can't remember which.

I am willing to be that if you don't see a budget compromise with the White House and Congress then Obama's approval numbers will be @40%...but that could be a no braine so how @35%..at the end of July...any takers?? My call is that Obama's Approval Rating on 31 July 2011 will be @ 35% - @ 40%....and you saw it here first....

bingo again. quite right. if Romney is the guy, he STILL has work to do. Romney is likely the only repub candidate with the distinct possibility of being elected with more votes from registered dem voters than registered repubs. He's just another big government, wasteful spending RINO.
