I made three posts:
1) One actual real post against a community generated thread from "Just Enter your preferred display name below" who I think is old-YM. The topic might be decent, but no takers yet.
2) I criticized their definition of money related articles by asking why they categorized their interview with the Glee dude as a money article.
3) I criticized a community generated thread by a gal who writes for a newspaper, but doesn't appear to officially belong to bundle.
I would like to see a fair number of people post on bundle - even if it is just for a short time. They will never respond to our request for improvement unless we go there and show our value.
I already feel like this board, although quality technology, is suffering from being separated from a money-related site. We only seem to be discussing panties and groceries.

Start Investing will soon be undergoing a name change more appropriate to general use. It will still maintain its dedication to investing (stocks, bonds, treasuries, options, puts/calls, metals,, annuities, real estate, etc.). While the board will still be available to anyone with questions on getting started, the broadened scope will be open and welcome to serious investors in things that can make money and increase one's net worth. Trolls will be dealt with under C of C rules.

The bundle boards are weird and I find it difficult to find topics I care about or want to post to over there (I had the same puzzlement over the Glee interview).
But you are right, it's getting incestuous over here already & we need to tie into some sort of Money topics/articles that will pull in new users!

Seriously - If each of us just made an effort to go over there, pick any one thread / topic, and opened fire, it would only take about 5 minutes a day, and they would start to feel the pressure. Seriously, if we rallied 50 posts a day for a week, that would be more traffic than they have seen in a year. They would have to respond. They might not be able to get the improvements we want right away - but they could see our power and decide if they want to take part in wooing us in.
Anyone with me? I know, the boards suck - I agree - but you can really cowboy up for 5 or 10 minutes.

OK, I ponied up 10 whole minutes on your agenda ;D and posted Bundle comments: - lame format that makes it hard to get through articles & that I didn't even finish reading because of having to screen flip too many times.
- wondering if there is any city other than NY in Bundle's repertoire
- lame-ass content in postings that made no sense
- listless discussion on articles - like there isn't any discussion, just a couple/few statements back about the article, but no life-personality-chatter
They have lost the human spark over there!! Now, where was that panties discussion? I must have missed it!

mw - thanks for joining in. If we keep it up, maybe we will have some success.
Unfortunately, the events of today and whatever disaster is going on on EE, I find it pretty daming that we couldn't even last two weeks of self management until we proved that this board has problems. Although MU can really be a jerk, and I'm not taking his sides - the moderators running pranks and implanting code that screws with the board purposely is pretty inappropriate. We are going to be ruled by the EE mentality, and they are acting like wild animals over there.
Sheesh.

I haven't been there , for know , happy here, and the financial niot tha interested in, but one of your thoughts got to me. Had a thought . ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I would like to see a fair number of people post on bundle - even if it is just for a short time. They will never respond to our request for improvement unless we go there and show our value." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I was on the MSN game site forum for many years, it was unbelievable active, moderated, discussions, suggestions to improve, problems discussed. Problem was on many of the games, card games, back gammon, you played for points, and there were always desruptive ones who cheated, stalled what ever, so many complaints and good suggestions being sent on and posters in communication with those watching over the site. In all the years there, not one suggestion, anything was ever done, not one. Oops wrong...we think the timer in BG was reduced, but they refused to acknowledge it even though we were in contact with them , like it was a state secret, and they finally removed some old messages that were locked at the top of the intro page after five years, but nothing of any substance so you are dealing with MSN the same people, don't expect anything. As far as a legitimate good finance forum here, I can't answer you, never have gone there, maybe I will go over and look in. I'm retired , what I got I got, mutuual finds, make own decisions and really not moving and actively new investing any more, done that did that, you know the story. Possible you should explore other avenues if really want good analyist , Morningstar, have a fee I know but.., though have no idea what is here. If it's similer to out political, LOL, lots of luck. {sorry about that, couldn't resist.
