Reading the recent threads made me think about this. I honestly do not know what is that thing that I would be happy doing forever. I like my job but that's just something I need to do.
How did you find your passion? What is it?

I'm not sure I'm passionate about anything anymore. I feel kind of like I've lost my attention span as I've gotten older.

I'm a writer. I was "writing" stories from the time I was very small and couldn't actually write. I would make things up and dictate them to my mom who would write it down for me. My favorite toy was a typewriter. I loved to read. I don't think I found my passion. I think it found me. It was just something inside of me from the beginning. I found a story I made up. It was funny. It was about a robber breaking into a house. I asked my mom how old I was when I wrote it. She said I was 2. I said, "How did I know about robbers when I was 2?" She said, "You knew all kinds of things that I had no idea how you knew them."

I think that for most people, their passion finds them and it's not necessarily something they are paid to do, either. What are your hobbies and interests? What really gets your blood flowing? That's most likely where you'll find your passion(s).

I don't know that I would call it a "career" per say, but you could definitely make some cash doing that.

I'm very good at what I do and have made a few sacrifices financially to be able to do it under the right circumstances. The right career at the right company is key.

We have some, um, ladies of the night, around here way older than 25. Of course their going rate reflects that. But around here, even the younger ones sell themselves really, really cheap.

What is the going rate these days? Yeah! Now we are talking. Let's split it: 25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60/ ... etc ... well, maybe don't want to go there ....

Granted, these are what the skeezy crack whores are charging around here, but you're looking at about $10 for certain things and up to $25 for others, or an exchange for drugs, which is pretty common too.
I know this for two legitimate reasons, I swear!

I would say the clientele would be more select, so you could probably get away with charging higher prices

I'm a Jill of all trades, master of none... still haven't found a true passion. But I do have a lot of things I love to do and I'm gaining the confidence to explore them further- dancing is something I've taken up lately, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Now that I don't have to compete with 20 year old girls, I can just dance for the enjoyment. I have also always been interested in real estate and want to expand my involvement in this. It's a confidence thing, I always chicken out at the last moment. But as I get older I get more sure of myself.
