we used to have smite until people on other boards started using it just to be a-holes... and then there was much whining and i said enough..
i took them BOTH away for a while and may end up doing so again because for whatever reason, the ability to smite seems to randomly appearing.. i don't know why and i don't know how, but people are complaining about it.. people take it WAY too seriously and it's not even fun..

Exploring the board, I happened to notice whenever I search for a particular topic both an Exalt and Smite option appear with the displayed posts. Random?  I think not, it has happened 100% of the time I've had search results. (Then again maybe I just choose lucky words to search)  Maybe I shouldn't have spilled the beans here, but I saw too much consternation. I believe this may solve the smite problem.....  |

hmm. i dunno... hahah.. cuz now everyone knows how to get around the fact it's supposed to be disabled.. that leaves me with 2 choices, i suppose.
1. totally disable karma, period (the smite is disabled via a code hack only and obviously has holes)
2. go with "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. "
no matter which i choose, i'll get complaints, i'm sure.

ok , before you remove karma..I personally like ability to give for reasons previously given, and id just to much of a bother, just say, "to much bother dez.., "..occasionally, not all the time, if able to easily, see what is going on with smites , see being used by some improperly, and you will know were to look I am sure, just non notice time ous..with, if a explanation needed, though don't think so, answer to one involved, "you know why and if you bitch I'll double, then quadruple and on and on, your call ".....
