It's hard for some people to wrap their heads around, I know-- but it is wise to ask the people that produce the jobs, and pay the taxes what they need to continue to do that. I think it's high time the average person developed the intuition to detect that attacks on their employer are attacks on their job. That when their company pays more in taxes, their job is in jeopardy. That when they're an aviation mechanic and some class-warfare member of Congress decides to ban or restrict "corporate" travel or grandstands about auto execs flying to D.C.-- it doesn't hurt the executives-- it hurts the mechanics and in-flight servers, and everyone else!!! END the Obamacrats economic attack on America!

Dialogue is good. Taking dictation isn't.

Service rendered for money paid. Dialogue is good. Taking dictation isn't. Did you even read the article or just start foaming at the mouth when GOP and business was mentioned together in the title? Last month a senior House Republican, Representative Darrell Issa of California, nevertheless dispatched letters to 150 companies, trade groups and research organizations asking them to identify federal regulations that are restraining economic recovery and job growth.
Mr. Issa, incoming chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said the concerns of businesses had been ignored by the Obama administration as it pursued what he described as an unprecedented regulatory expansion.
The responses have been predictable but, in asking, Mr. Issa also is underscoring the commitment of the new House majority to help business by curtailing government.
“A lot of people have felt shut out of the process the last few years, and they have welcomed the opportunity to give input,” said Kurt Bardella, a spokesman for Mr. Issa.
Not one word about dictation in the entire article.

Representative Issa didn't publicly announce in a New York Times article that the GOP was bought and paid for by Corporate America?

I have to admit,I am sort of surprised at the speed in which the tea party backed and GOP candidates that campaigned on anti lobbyist and special interest issues dropped the facade and started accepting cold hard facts and started getting lobbyists on their side and staffs. I thought they would play to the game a while before admiting the fact business best interests is government's best interests.

But honestly....you can save them for people that really seem to care about them. IMHO if they bring back the smite link, I'm shooting for the lowest score. I'll give you one back if they mean that much to ya.....even though I still think you're liberal!!

ThinkProgress » REPORT: Rick Scott’s Inauguration Funded By Special Interests With Substantial Business Before State
This afternoon, Rick Scott was sworn in as the 45th governor of Florida. Scott, the former head of scandal-plagued Columbia/HCA hospital operation, is worth around $219 million and frequently said during the campaign that the $73 million in personal funds he spent to be elected meant he was simply a “businessman with no ties to special interests.
The two-day inaugural bash this week tells quite a different story, however. The ceremonies cost about $3 million, and are largely funded by business interests in Florida that, as the St. Petersburg Times writes, have “the most at stake in his administration.”
At a prayer breakfast this morning, born-again Christian Chuck Colson lamented that “America has lost its way to self-indulgency, greed and materialism,” according to the Miami Herald. The answer, he said, is a renewal of the sense of shared sacrifice and civic duty. “We’ve got a sick culture…. We don’t want to make any sacrifices for the common good.” This sentiment does not seem to square with Scott’s already demonstrable deference to large corporations and business interests.

ThinkProgress » REPORT: Rick Scott’s Inauguration Funded By Special Interests With Substantial Business Before State Wow...a thinkprogress article that shines a negative light on a repub. Who woulda' thunk? Honestly...with Scott's record, do they really need to whine about something as trivial as an inauguration?

Next two years here in the land of palm trees, Manatees, soon to be Miami Marlins, should be interesting...so one sided a political system this side of the Peoples Republic..very conservative new Governor, Very Vonservative both houses of the legislature majoritys, made up of ultra right legislatures, any and all moderate , even slighty, are retired, term limited out or swept out so all decisions from the legislature are veto proof, opposition proof , {The Democrats who are left..as loud as they scream, it's like screaming in a vacume]..so if any want to see a experiment in the making..large State remember..not a Montana, Dakotas, R.I. ...no true voice representation for lots, ones in power no need or desire to please or cater to any one but them selves and their own supporters..we'll see over the next two years how successful or what havoc will be unleashed..Should be interesting in the least.

I'm all for strong questions, honest answers, and doing what it takes to get the jobs rolling again. I could care less what some people are getting rich from, as long as the jobs are there.
