Proboards Android app

I paid $2.99 for the app for my Android-powered phone, and searched for our board....and couldn't find it. I searched notmsnmoney, msnmoney, refugees. hell, I even searched for moonbeam, and got nothing.

is there something else I should use as search criteria?

i was able to find it... i clicked on "my Forums", then Add Forum, and put in the notmsnmoney there..

I downloaded the android app too. I finally got to notmsnmoney, but when it asks me to login, I enter my user name & password and it does not recognize it. I entered it from my PC, and it works. What gives?

i've not had that problem bean.. you're positive that you're using the right password? my password is a specific keyboard sequence, on an actual keyboard.. but my virtual qwerty on my phone isn't the same.. i had a devil of a time getting my pw entered because i didn't actually know what it was w/o being able to see a physical keyboard.

I got a new phone yesterday. We got our kids new phones too. So my son is showing me some stuff about my phone and I said Damn, I just put the Proboards app on my old phone and now I have to pay for it again. You should have seen DS's reaction. You'r paying for an app?

LOL. there are some you can't avoid paying for. did you ever get it to log in on your other phone?

I got to the notmsnmoney.proboards but I could not log in. I never went back and tried before I bought the new phone. I have not tried to put it on the new phone. Sigh, I guess it is only $2.99. I will get around to it sometime this week.

I tried searching to see if you could transfer it somehow, rather than have to buy it twice. couldn't find anything .

Well, I ordered something on line, and had my CC out so I decided to download the Pro-Boards app to the new phone.

Good News. It downloaded to my phone without charging me the $2.99. I also put in my user id and password and managed to log in. So it looks like I will be able to access proboards from the phone in the future.

I'm attempting to swap phones this afternoon, and I'm about ready to pitch the new one out the window right now. I'm finally to the point where I'm resetting all my automatic logins, and the PB app is giving me agita. I managed to find the forum, but it will not load. there is no pop-up to input a username/password, either. any ideas?

I'm going to poke around the support site to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Make sure you look on the Mobile App support board, chiver.. What kind of phone?

eta.. Nevermind. I see you went there already.

and I got an answer already, too apparently, that "Add Forum" up at the top when you search - it's a button where you can type in the forum URL.

I think I had that problem on the last phone, too. oops.

Asking here and will check on the support page when I'm on a 'puter later. just curious if anyone else has has this problem. I just updated the app in the past week, and now find myself having to log in once a day or so. Is there a "keep me logged in" check box I have missed on the app somewhere? I've looked thru the settings menus and haven't noticed anything.

Sometimes I have to log in multiple times a day and the rest of the time it keeps me logged in. I've been ignoring updates for all my apps so I'll let you know after I do updates.
