That would be great!! It's too late for me to plan that this year. I was looking at packing the family up and going for a drive south at the end of August, just can't decide where.

"A bunch of the boys were whooping it up, in the Malamute Saloon, The kid that handles the music-box was hitting a jag-time tune; Back of the bar, in a solo game, sat Dangerous Dan McGrew, And watching his luck was his light-o'-love, the lady that's known as Lou."

Guess that's why the British beat back the Germans in 1940 and why they gave us the Merlin engine for the P51!

Bruce Thank you for the information. I know this stuff belongs in the "All things Military" over at EE. I will try to limit my comments to that thread. I have an active interest in WWII aviation and have been reading about that history for years. I thought I knew more about the P-51 than I did. Most history given about the Mustang centered around the transformation from the Allison and its shortcomings and the adoption of the Merlin which of course most know the P-51 to be. How's your knowledge of Wright Patterson powerplants? Also my father in law was a WWII Marine, was an armorer on PB-J's(B-25). Great web site ..VMB-613. Can't name the link but search for that name. Interesting history.

Interesting history. Dome asingold, Great about the use of a common power plant from six firms.. The real problem is Packard's calling the WWI and WWII power plants V1650 both. It is about the market and Ford worked with other to solve the problems.. We can use these ideas like Black Jack and make one common truck!! Bi Metal au Pt K4U

R U kidding me? Maui wants to bring yesterday evening right back?! Everyone knows this is Mid. If the mods using ip tools then Mid is spoofing his. It's him and he was banned permanently before for causing major issues on the board. Why in the world would any of you allow him to continue to do this.
If this board fails it is a reflection of the moderation. You guys are letting this board fall apart by catering to users like maui (Mid). He is obviously trying to bait FTI every way he possibly can. Who started the BS today? It was maui (Mid) first thing right off the bat (no pun int).
I don't know who gets this report so I'm pm'ing all of the mods I am familiar with. I have a feeling if it's Virgil who gets these reports it will go nowhere.
Guess I can't pm them since I haven't posted yet so I'll just put it here. No, I don't post I'm just a reader who's fedup with Mid. Thought for sure you guys were done with Mid a while back but I guess not. I really hope this board survives but if you let maui continue to cause problems eventually there will be enough anxiety here to break the camel's back.
