shitgibbon is a very clever contraction. Can you elaborate so I don’t spend an hour on google trying to figure this one out? i just think it is a very humorous and unobvious way of engendering an image of the subhuman known as Trump.

I long for the days of impartial journalism. The remarks about his appearance were unnecessary. not disagreeing here, but impartial journalism has no impact on Trump or his minions. one could argue that our current situation demands that we make very pointed and candid remarks about the character of the man who is vying to lead us.

i don't wish this on ANYONE, but if he DOES end up disabled, which is quite likely given his health, i hope he feels the pain of all of those LIKE HIM that he wronged.

yes, because gruesome death is just so beautiful. what a sick fuck. You are talking about a person to whom his floor was more important than the guest who was bleeding on it and needed medical help.

I think he was likely responsible for many more deaths than a million. I know I lost 2 cousins, hard core Trumpers I'm sure. Both died of COVID, how stupid can you get? We lost quite a few in our small communities. And I'm betting they all voted, so that should help next time. I thought only 144,000 would be the chosen ones, are there supposed to be more? That sure isn't many. it is just a round number. i agree with you. i gave him a pass for about the first 100k. after that, it is all on him. and yes, that includes the number of deaths under Biden. the key is to get people to buy into the vaccine, and his people never did.

i was thinking about something today.
you remember when Trump said that we should rake our forests like Finland or someting? to prevent fires.
what occurred to me is that Trump has probably never been to a forest. i am not kidding. the only forest he probably knows is Central Park, where you could conceivably have an army of people raking shit up, and it might even make sense. where you also have probably a dozen fire units within a mile of the place to put a fire out. where you have irrigated vegitation. he probably thinks forests are like that.
he is so naiive. and it shows, every time he takes on a task he knows nothing about. like being a criminal defendant.

What has boggled my mind ever since this whole issue came up is that the orange paint addict could have 100% avoided this trial if only he hadn't been such a cheapskate who just can't face paying for anything himself. I don't have a clue how rich he actually is but even if he overstates his wealth by a couple of billion $ those $160k would have been peanuts. But no, he has to go and falsify business records the dumb ass... this is actually the entire case, Nasty. as you just said, that is chump change for Trump. he likely spends $160k in a week flying around and making mischief. it is NOTHING to him. but because he did this in furtherance of the campaign for president, it is an actual crime. it is the FACT that he didn't do this out in the open that makes it a problem for him.

I question whether there's ever a good reason for jurors' names (or any other info that could potentially identify them) to be made public. Seems like it could be really dangerous, depending on the case. Never know when some whackjob is gonna come after you for retribution when they lose. I was a juror on a criminal case. The crime wasn’t violent in nature, but because the judge who presided over the case handles a lot of murder cases, there is a blanket policy to protect the identity of all jurors that serve in his courtroom. We were told that after we were done, if we wanted to ensure that we didn’t have to serve again within the next 10 years, we needed to make sure we kept the certificate we received in case we got called again, because that would be the only proof that we’d served jury duty. There would be no records kept, it would be like we’d never been there. Even though it wasn’t a murder trial, that still made me kind of nervous. The defendant was part of a ring of criminals, and after we delivered our verdict, we learned that that was the first of 17 cases against the defendant in 3 states. If there were things in place to try to protect us, surely it can be done on high profile cases. i think that we should be less worried about our personal safety on juries and more concerned with the fate of the nation. the latter is in much greater peril, imo. consider the exposure of WITNESSES. that is where the rubber really hits the road, imo.

I would be scared as hell to be a juror on this trial. Exactly. What if some MAGA minion gets hold of the jury list and publishes it on social media? You’d have every delusional nut job in the country on your phone or at your door. i would ask for protective custody. let's face it. MAGAts are not the sharpest tools in the shed.

the other thing i wonder is that IF every other country expands their money at the same rate as us, what happens? it means that every currency rests on the same house of cards. but if the measure of a currency is against another currency, how does that end up mattering? if ALL currencies decline in value, then the relative value of each currency will remain the same.
this is kind of what we see in the world today. it is the stronger currencies like the Swiss Franc that make ours look bad, and who cares about the Swiss Franc, other than the Swiss?

i don't like the administrations "defense" of this action. they said that this was a "policy difference".
what they SHOULD have said is that Mayorkis (sic) governed under exactly the same circumstances, with similar results, as Elaine Neilsen. so, there actually IS NO POLICY difference. when Elaine Neilsen did the same thing, they blithely ignored it, even though the policy was identical.
no, what this administration should have done is to point that out, and point out that this is the GOP pretending that they knew how to deal with this issue without passing legislation, when they didn't. when legislation to fix this was offered, they rejected it.
the Biden administration repeats GOP talking points far too often.

"I should be right now in Pennsylvania, in Florida, in many other states — North Carolina, Georgia — campaigning," Trump said Tuesday. i got a great idea, then! plead guilty to all charges, and then you will be released awaiting sentencing!

so, i am guessing speed and nodding off are part of his thing.

"This is a trial that should never happen. It should have been thrown out a long time ago," he told reporters.
it WAS thrown out a long time ago, you moron. it was "un-thrown out" a little over a year ago.
