Romney, Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Paul, Santorum...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz And Pawlenty laid an egg in addition to putting the audience to sleep with his wishy washy responses to all questions posed to this "Empty Suit" With this field of boring candidates you have just ensured four more years for Obama.....

How about our Bilderberg guy, Perry?? He could change it all, right?? All those jobs in Texas, Sarah Palin said to possibly back him... how about our Bilderberg against the Dem Bilderberg? We'll see what the bankers decide...

Too much logic, not enough "charisma" for ya? Some of our best and most famous presidents were incredibly dull and boring...IMO we're way overdue for another one of those

But, these days I am not sure anyone can win the POTUS position if they can't win some kind of reality star preview. Crying shame. Hey, maybe while Dems are trying to control the internet, radio, etc they could make politics and campaign PRINT only. So we could actually read about people and their policies, and if you can't read.. oh, well. ;D

Frankly, as far as scandals go, i'd say weiner's weiner was actually small potatoes (although as far as weiners go.... well, it could have just been the angle... )

The smartest guy in that pack is Romney. In fact he is likely one of the smartest in the country. Bain Consulting, Bain Capital, he is pedigreed.

Romney is a shoe in unless Republicans find someone with some balls. Pawlenty is not it. Romney will beat Bachmann like a drum in a debate. Who else is left? Donald Duck?

It isn't about who wins debates though. Some people absolutely dislike Romney... and Bachmann could very well win early states ( ) ...

Yea but you have to know that the Republican Establishment cannot be too overjoyed with this field of nominees to replace Obama.. So they may do something to get another conservative to throw his hat into the ring and doubt that they will pressure Palin... I know some die hard republicans and ultra conservatives in MA and CA and they cannot stand Romney or Palin.. But 18 mos is an enternity in politics Poll: Less than half of GOP primary voters satisfied with 2012 field But Obama remains vulnerable on the economy, gas prices www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43415910/ns/politics-white_house/

Why Is The Republican Field A Yawn??? Maybe they are saving the "good" people just in case they have to run against someone good in the future.

The frustration with the 2012 GOP bench explains why some Republicans are searching for others — like Texas Gov. Rick Perry, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (who has said he’s “100 percent certain” he’s not running) and even former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin — to join the field.
“In retrospect, the 2007-2008 field looks unusually strong compared to the current crop of candidates,” said Republican pollster Bill McInturff, who conducted the survey with Democratic pollster Peter D. Hart and who served as McCain’s pollster in the 2008 election.
The current crop includes former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, Texas Rep. Ron Paul and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum. Next week, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman will join that group. Huntsman weighs in on Afghanistan, Libya Republican voters, Hart says, “obviously sense that there is something that is weak about this field.” [/b][/i][/u] www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43415910/ns/politics-white_house/

obviously sense that there is something that is weak about this field.”That comment may be too kind IMHO I sense something that is wrong about this field because there are no real strong candidates just a bunch of wannabees or empty suits... As Peggy Lee's Song asks "Is that all there is? If that is all there is then that is not much my friend"

That sounds good Paul, but fact of the matter is most of our 'founding fathers' and several other very good presidents would never have even made it to the election if they had to deal with today's media culture.... like it or not, Pawlenty just doesn't have the personality, and lacking the personality, his 'look' is insufficient...

Don't forget only a small percentage of folks in this country follow politics or have any interest in Dems or Repubs.....I hate to admit but my kids and their buds told me they could care less and may not even vote in 2012....this attitude is prevalent among the 18 to 35 years olds in this country who seem to be completely turned off with Obama and his administration but will they vote for him or a Republican?? Who knows but I doubt that a majority will even vote.. I know many in the military may not vote but that is being worked by the Commands to get out the vote in 2012

So Pawlenty thinks shutting down the govt. will solve the downturn? This guy is real funny.

Obama is very vunerable because of his lack of leadership but if the Republicans cannot provide a strong leader we may be doomed to four more years of Obama...IMHO The 2012 GOP presidential field Who is going to challenge President Barack Obama? www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41480719/ns/politics-white_house/

If the "choice" is Romney- so be it. I may actually vote for Obama. I live in a 'swing' state now, my vote might count.

Yeah, but your state can't count. Yes they can. It just takes 'em a long time to get it right. It's called flori-duh for a reason.
