Bwaaa like all the so called conservatives that voted for a president and vice president last election that had a cap and trade platform long before Obama, wanted to close gitmo and send terrorists to Kansas, wanted a bigger homeowner bailout than Obama ended up proposing, were huge cheerleaders for TARP, wanted to tax all employer provided benefits as income, etc..etc... one of them even bragged about a share the wealth tax......... Don't blame me...I voted for the white guy and the milf with the r behind their names....lol

Sarah Palin is a "10", people in Boston wouldn't be surprised by that statement. "He who warned uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed." After Palin enlightened us to the real history behind Paul Revere's midnight ride I personally would have said she had an IQ of 65-80 but if conservatives believe she's a "10" who am I to argue.

Do you believe that people who vote Republican know what their vote supports?
Did Republican voters know that they were voting for bailouts to the Auto industry?

yup. I was being sarcastic over posts like this that I see all the time-----<<<<<Liberals cry bloody murder when entitlements are threatened. They work tooth and nail to make sure black farmers get restitution. They fight the vast majority of American people to implement laws allowing gay marriage. They fight the vast majority of American people to get gay issues taught in elementary school. These are facts. This is what liberals want. Ed nailed it. Sorry but it's true. Very sorry that it's true.>>>>>>>>>> I know that that was your intent, yet all it does it remove focus from the topic at hand, it forces each side to simply escalate the exaggeration clap-trap. Okay now I am done saying what I have to say on that subject. As far as Sarah Palin being a 10, everyone has their own scorecard, she has attractive qualities and unattractive qualities, and are subject to different standards per individual.

Functional for liberals would be two mommies, three or four dead babies, a couple of gay kids and everyone's living off the government...
Yea big difference here, Rush, Newt, McCain all gave their kids multiple mommies and Larry "the tap" Craig and many other 'out of the closet' male pubs have attempted to give their kids new daddies. Cheney, Reagan and many other republican couples have gay kids. Only conservatives would believe that there are no conservatives (retired, military, handicapped) taking government money AND CERTAINLY only conservatives would believe that among the millions of abortions that are performed each year that NONE of them are performed on conservative women. Don't look now conservatives but there are even conservative women out there who don't want to have to get their husband's approval before they can do what they want with their own body. All in all a pretty ridiculous load of bait cast out by the board's resident conservative trolls.

May I call you Raving Lunatic? ;D I love her core principles. But I don't think she expresses them effectively and I don't think she necessarily works well with others. She is a tax and spend politician. She hired a law firm to mooch off of Federal tax subsidies for her town. She lobbied for the Alaskan bridge to nowhere. These are her core principles. Sorry, but I wouldn't trust her with my tax dollars.

Send terrorists to Kansas (is this really true?) - why not? Just don't send them to my state. But the rest was just vile. So I didn't vote for them.

More deep Pub political thought. Superficial and sorely misled. Not really in all the Pubs that I hang out in there is no political thought at all and nobody is superficial or sorely misled with the exception of those who over tip for a Dos Equis which is not as good as advertised....ala "Stay Thirsty Me Friends"

More deep Pub political thought. Superficial and sorely misled. Stunning. The entire point was that there's almost NO criticism of Palin on the substance of the issues. It's all superficial-- her hair, her make up, her glasses, speculation about who the father of her baby might be, trash talk about her daughter, rumours about her husband, and basically every attempt is made to lampoon her as being 'not that bright' when in reality what really drives people nuts-- and this thread was specifically to address why conservative women don't like her-- is that she's attractive, self-confident, not afraid to fail or make a mistep, isn't polished, but yet seems happy, happily married, loves America, and loves God. She has a good marriage- and I suspect that alone drives unhappy, ugly women NUTS.

I'm trying to think of a beautiful liberal woman. Me. I think Sarah Palin is very attractive, and I also think she is very talented in promoting herself. However, I think she lacks the capability for analytical thought and doesn't seem to understand that complex national problems need complex solutions, you can't tweet the answer. I also wonder about the whole family values thing. If someone is into family values, shouldnt' they be home spending quality family time with their kids instead of traveling around the country promoting themselves?

I don't know about you, but I don't have to release videos of my family vacations to show my "family values"
She's an attention whore, plain and simple. What respect I had for her disappeared when she quit her job as governor to do whatever the heck she's doing now. Tweeting simple thoughts, doing interviews with hand picked "journalists" who don't ask her any tough questions, and touring the country aren't a job, they're self promotion.

Plenty of beautiful liberal women- Marshabar was thinking of pundits/politicians. Most of the conservative women around here, though, are all old, pissed off, and might throw a bible at you if you look at them wrong.
It must be her politics, because I think Tina Fey is attractive even when dressed up like Palin, yet Palin still repulses me. I guess I can't look at her objectively.

This reminds me of a conversation between Phil Donahue and Cal Thomas 100 years ago.
Paraphrasing- Phil Donahue scolds Cal by saying conservatives are alway proposing simple solutions to complex problems to which Cal Thomas responded, correctly, that: The left has ignored the simple solutions for so long that the problems have become complex.
But it's really not complex. The problem is tyranny-- statism. The solution is liberty-- limited small "r" republicanism.

At this point Sarah is just promoting the USA. Do people really have a problem with that? I think it is pretty nice. God, I hope she doesn't run. Heads will explode all over this country. Please don't run, Sarah. The "journey" is what counts, and I like her journey. I wish I could do this with my kids. She is bringing awareness to what it means to be an American.

What are you talking about, promoting the USA? She's promoting the USA the same way Kate Gosselin is. This tour is all about Sarah. Good for her, she's getting her name out there, but it's not about anyone else.
And Paul, it really doesn't matter who caused the problems. We have to deal with what we have. They're complex, and addressing them requires complex thought as well as a grasp of unintended consequences. I haven't seen Palin show any ability to reason through an issue or answer a question coherently that is outside her comfort zone.

All we need is to cut all spending and give the money back tot he rich in the form of tax cuts. Even a moron like Palin should be able to do that, however she is a tax and spend politician so she won't. Hence, I won't support her.

Yes, giving money to the rich addresses the issues in Afghanistan. Silly me. The issues in Afghanistan would disappear the minute we leave Afghanistan. I think Palin is capable of realizing that we need the flexibility to "reach out and touch someone" if need be-- but we don't need to be there in such large numbers on the ground. We need more intelligence on the ground, and more spec op strikes like the one in Pakistan that nailed bin Laden. I trust Palin over Obama any day to deal with just about anything.

IF that turned out to be the choice, Paul, I would vote Sarah over Obama, also. At least she has no grey zone on who she is or where she lives.

The taliban would just disappear and a stable government would just magically appear? Cool!
