From the link yesterday: New Mexico State Police confirmed Tuesday that they are investigating a homicide in Hidalgo County. Larry Link, the owner of Steins Ghost Town, was found shot to death early Tuesday morning on Summit Road in Hidalgo County. State Police Public Information Officer Maj. Scott Weaver said that they currently have no suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
Rumors have been flying that Link, 68, was shot by an illegal alien on his land but that information was not verified by State Police or the Hidalgo County Sheriff. www.lcsun-news.com/las_cruces-news/ci_18224266And today, from a charter member of the San Diego Minute Men who knew the victim. The location of the shooting was near I-10 and Summit Rd. in extreme Western NM. I just called the Hidalgo Sheriffs office but they're closed for the day, so this is the latest. Rumors were flying this morning that Link was responding to an illegal alien on his property when he was shot, but looking at the map, his property is about 60 miles north of the border. More details as we get them .

I've been watching this one.Sure looks like Krentz on his ranch in AZ, shot DEAD while patrolling his property...Does not matter how far from the border it is, as it is a vast wasteland in between. I know that little town. Waiting to hear what they say on this one. My flipping state is on fire, and one of them is in the same place illegals started one last year.. waiting on that one, also. Just watching the rare and beloved trees burn in AZ. Maybe it will slow the murderers and drug dealers down some.

Me too, bills. I wonder if Obama is planning to do anything about the border , , , , or if he is planning his next vacation to a spot where he can get in another golf outing.
What are you wondering about?

Here's a site that has loads and loads of names, and they are asking us for more. I dug a little and found the US Forestry Service listed, but when I tried to open it, I found it was blocked. www.wehirealiens.com/And, oh yeah. . . . just about every farm and ranch in the entire southwest. , , and probably everywhere else, too. Especially in California. So if we like to eat, it'll be tough going if we boycott the people that feed us. It'll mean we have to pay American wages to farm and ranch hands. , ,. , , and those people don't have no 40 hour work weeks with scheduled holidays neither, , , nor 15 minute breaks two or three times a day. But Obama could put a damper on it in a New York minute, if he was of a mind to doing it.

You are probably right to wonder, bills. The fact that he was shot multiple times, Larry Link, the 68-year-old who owned the Steins Railroad Ghost Ranch along the New Mexico-Arizona-Mexico border, was found dead on his property early Tuesday morning (June 7), the victim of several gunshot wounds in Hidalgo County, in the boot-heel region of New Mexico. newmexico.watchdog.org/7461/new-mexico-border-resident-killed/ makes it as likely an irate tourist who didn't like it because Link had closed down his resurrected ghost town did it as a poor mistreated undocumented immigrant who was only looking for work. You might see if this is any help for describing the circumstances. www.lcsun-news.com/las_cruces-news/ci_18227644

Aahh, bills, your Saul Alinsky teachings are showing. Just this once, let's stay on topic okay?
So, what does anything going on in Belle Fourche, South Dakota have to do with this murder right next to the southern border in New Mexico?

Oh, good. So you're suddenly aware there really IS a border down there. Great. We're making progress.

We should have open borders like we used to 100 years or so back. Right now labor is extremely expensive in the USA. We need cheap labor. That's the only way to bring back businesses from Asia. People love to blame corporations but don't understand how hard it is to make money in the USA with labor cost being what it is. We also need to repeal minimum wage laws. Let the market decide.

If it was illegals that did this then I lay the fault at President Obama's feet for several reasons. He needs to put up more signs directing illegals to the "Welcome to the U.S. centers" located in the border states (& in spanish of course). Along with the free taco's, social security numbers, & directions to free medical clinics he also needs to include road maps & enough money for illegals to get settled in their new home ($10,000 per person should do it). Oh & of course the paperwork to fill out to start claiming the free government benefits. That way nobody would get killed.

Illegals are a great source of cheap labor. That's the only reason to have them here and more of them in fact.
