Not to mention it leaves much more opportunity for the executive branch to interpret as they desire.

I wonder if he has seen a bill. Most have double spacing, bullet points, lots of empty space.I would imagine the average simple bill is over 10 pages, and more complex issues way over that.

Three pages may be too short, but I don't see why they need to be dozens or even thousands of pages

I think he could have stopped at promises not to sign any bill. Hell, I think in hindsight, the founders could have stopped at "Congress shall pass no law" and left it at that.

I can't imagine that a bill which is designed to completely negate a past bill would take more than 3 pages. If he is, basically, saying that the only bills he will sign reduce the size of government, then I am completely on board.

"congree shall pass no law" What a novel concept......Lets get that added as an amendment!!!! Then they could stay in office forever and do no one any harm.

I love Herman!! Have for years. I hope he gets a real chance. Romney seems to be running things now. I don't dislike Romney, actually wanted him last time around, but after seeing how Obama has done, after Bush, who I voted for.. I'm ready for REAL change. Cain is my pick for now, and I don't yet see anyone changing that for me. It is early, though.
Cain 2012!!!

Potential slogan I 'borrowed' from the movie 'The Program'.
'Cain is able'

I don't like Mr Cain...he just doesn't do anything for me at all...and in a head to head debate with Obama he would get clobbered by Barack even without his teleprompter IMHO

WWithout the Teleprompter Obama would win, I have no doubt but, it wouldn't be a clobbering.

I disagree. Herman is tough. He can hold his own. I hope he gets a chance. He didn't just crawl out of a pizza box. He is well informed on politics and actually worked to get where he is today.

I Think Cain would have a very powerful stance in a debate about the economy or building business where I feel he lacks is a certain couthness (pretty much the same thing Obama lacks) when it comes to actual discourse, saying that because you don't see things my way your wrong.

LOL, PI-- I totally disagree. Obama is a created politician. Cain is a real guy. He would stomp Obama in a debate.
