Hmmm, SaveinLa, I'm just not seeing what you're referring to. I have input in my spreadsheet all the coupons from the most recent going back through April. I'm now working on March. The document I see says "GC Hound List." It has a person's name & the coupons they are looking for. But I don't see any master list of the coupons by insert and date. If you want to forward me one, that would be great. I'd be interested in seeing what's already out there. My coupons are always different than those listed on Sunday Coupon Preview and what's listed in some of the blog's databases. That's why I decided to create my own. I'm definitely open to utilizing anything you may have already created. I just can't seem to see or find what you're referencing. Thanks! Let me try attaching the file here. It's a list for Jan, Feb, March & the first week of April.

Gas Prices There are a couple of web sites to look up current gasoline prices: www.gasbuddy.comwww.gaswatch.comI am in a burb that instituted a 3% gasoline tax last 7/1 in ADDITION to the existing federal, county & state fuel taxes. I check by zipcode for the area I plan to be in on my driving & need gas days. That is 2-3x/week near my Dad and about 1x/month near DD1 (her area is significantly cheaper). My response to the town tax increase has been to buy my gas OUTSIDE of my hometown. Our lawmakers must think we are all TOTALLY stupid. Nearly every adjacent town has cheaper gas AND we MUST go to adjacent towns to hit any of our national chain grocers, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, Lowes..... We only have independent markets that do NOT take IP's, Aldi, CVS & WAG. holly: Geez, if I could get cheaper gas so easily, I'd do it too. In my area the towns don't all run together (which I like) so you actually have to drive a ways to get to the next town over (15 miles to the north and over 20 miles to the south). You'd think that the gas stations in your town would go out of business. I guess it just goes to show that a lot of people are just too lazy to plan when they will buy their gas. Shocking since 3%/gallon would really add up over the course of a month.
dancinmama and holly All the gas stations in my county have gas priced at $3.89, but I can go 2 miles across the river to Kentucky and only pay $3.69. Wanna take a guess as where I buy my gas?

I can't find find this list of q's by insert that you all are talking about. leanna If you click the link that was posted, an excel sheet should pop up. You may have to allow pop-ups first. THe coupons will be listed on the left side of the sheet. At the bottom of the screen you can choose which month you want to see. Hope that helps!!

Prayer request for a friend---- A friend of mine just found out that her dad has Lou Gehrig's disease. He's lost 54 pounds in the past 10 months--down to 103 pounds. He can't talk or swallow. She's very close to her dad. She's already lost 3 or 4 uncles in the past 4 years due to cancer. Please pray that he won't be in pain and that Merranda and the family will have the strength to get through this.

Leanna can't quote from phone. Are you listing all Qs and exp date? If so I would love a copy. Will make it easier to toss entire folder when I know last Q expired. blues, Here is a website that I use to check which inserts to toss - www.pinchingyourpennies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122825&page=1&pp=10It's based on the Arizona Republic, but should work for almost everyone. Perfect. The republic is the rag I get my inserts from. Thanks

Ladies,
If anyone is planning to buy the Aveeno or Neutragena this week as part of the 10 Up WYB 30, it's a double dip for the monthly skin care deal. If your store has a lot of the Neutragena soaps, you can use the In ad Q for 1.50 and combine it in a 3/15 transaction to make it free.
Or you can buy 8 to 10 of the smaller Aveeno lotions with the 1.50 In Ad Q and make it a MM. HTH

saveinla:Does your RA allow you to use more than one in ad q in a transaction? Mine doesn't. murphath, Mine does not either. But the deal is tracking and we need the sunscreen this year since we are all out, so it's an ok deal for me. I will be spending mostly tax and rolling ups and will get 25 Ups, so I am ok with it. But for people with friendlier stores, it may be easier to do this deal coupled with a survey Q or 2, so they can get to the 30 easily with little OOP. Here's my transaction for today - Neutrogena sunscreen (reg 9.99) 1*7.99 - used 2$ IPQ +1.5$ IAQ Veet Gel( reg 6.49) 1*5.19 - used 3$ FBQ + 2$ IAQ Veet strips (reg 4.49) 1*3.59 - used 2$ FBQ + 1$ VVQ Maalox 1*4.99 - Used 1$ MQ Got back 5 Up for the Veet, added 7.99 for the Neutragena and will get back 2 SCR for the Maalox. Paid with 5 Up and 0.26 OOP + tax. I will do similar transactions and add the neutragena as a filler so as to not impact my OOP too much and still get the deals.

Unfortunately both WAGS in town have been out of the Icy Hot every time I've checked. BUT, I did get free shampoo this week. Finesse Clean & Simple is on sale 2/$7 with a $5 RR WYB 2. There are $1/1 q's in the May issue of All You or in the 5/8 SS. Not a MM, but my WAGS was out of the clearance Garnier as well. If you happen to see clearance Garnier, it's buy 4, get a $4 RR, and it looks like the clearance is giving a RR as well. ETA I know the Finesse isn't a MM, but I don't have much of a stockpile since I'm the only one in the house that uses shampoo/conditioner. I buy 2 or 3 ahead of each and that lasts me for almost 6 months. sharleone: Great job!! I don't get All You, but a lot of the gals on here do and I know that many sent a lot of their stockpiles to tornado country so the deal may help someone who needs to restock. Thanks for posting. ;D

shelly- Prayers sent.
No terrific hounds at the stores today- although I had some awesome qs on frenchs mustard that made it cheaper than store brand- it's usually 2.99- it was on sale for 1.99 and I had a $1 q- DM got her dijon for 99c. Still had to pay $1.99 for the honey mustard with q but it was still 30c cheaper than regular price store brand.

Ohiositter - praying for the little boy and his family. Did they find out if the seizures were caused by the fever? I hope he's OK. I couldn't imagine seeing DD go through a seizure. How scary.
Shelly527 - praying for your friend and her family. My dad has been sick and in and out of the hospital lately. It seems like he's doing better now. I how much something like that can weigh on your heart and mind.

Guess being able to price compare on EVERYTHING and have multiple CVS & WAG in my town + others I pass is part of the $$ I pay for my SKY high real estate taxes for living in a suburban area 5 minutes outside the BIG city. I am buying 16-20 gal/month and my avg $ over the last month has been about $4.30 (it is up 0.10/gal now). 18 gal @4.30 = 77.40. 3% = $2.32; enough for a CHEAP fast food lunch or a grocery store treat (ice cream, chips…..) or several cans of tuna + 1 dz eggs.
Shelly My handyman drives WAAAY out into the western burbs to get gas 0.40/gal cheaper. He does do other shopping there where the taxes are MUCH lower on other things he regularly buys but that is NOT worth it to me just for the gas. Trip would be 80+ mi.

As far as I can see from the WAGS ad, there are no big deals this week. Seeing the OS is buy one get one 50%, can't use the BOGO Q's. The SOBE, Omega fish oil, and Soy supplement where you get the price back in RR's are the only deals I see (as long as you have RR's to pay for them).
Am I missing anything?

I agree that most of the deals have been less than stellar recently. I have cut way, way back on my hounding. I am down to a $3 RR and was way down on Ups until I got my $10 WW Up at RA on Friday. I still have some EB's, maybe around $6-7 on two cards. I have over a years supply of HBA, probably closer to 2 years, so, I am really trying to pass any deals that are not free or MM's. I'm focusing mainly on RA since I can still convert Ups to cash thru the SCR, and use the 3/15 to get grocery items and stuff I NEED. I am SO mad at myself though...I was getting SO many survey's and was holding them to try and stagger the expiration of the 3/15's and I let FOUR of them expire before entering the code. Actually, three had expired and the fourth was 14 days THAT day and it wouldn't let me enter the code . I think I have 2 more codes, but, once these dry up, I'll probably get out of the RA game too. I'm almost out of paper towels, so, my goal over the next couple weeks is to find a way to build that stockpile back up. Really I'm trying to focus on groceries, which is much more difficult here. I'm trying to shop more at a different chain, that I HATE, but they do offer pretty decent CAT deals as well as gas rewards. Every little bit helps. I will likely be having surgery soon and will be out of work, and unable to drive, for 4-6 weeks, so, I need to make sure I have everything I need, as I live alone and won't have a whole lot of "help". NAG: I just got my new electric bill and they have increased my budgeted bill to $119 a month! That seems unreal for one person in a 1300 sq. ft. house! The first year I was here, I just paid the actual bill. The next year I went on the budget and it was $74, last year it went up to $85, so, $119 is quite a jump. With gas prices I definitely need to find other places to cut back to absorb this increase...sigh

HOUND ALERT.If anyone has the Oral B Pulsar coupon for $3/1 from the P&G insert today and doesn't want it my son just used the one I got from CVS and loves it so I would like a couple more if anyone can. The deal is buy one at CVS for $6 use $3 MC and get $3 ECB back. Thanks to Salvenia for you help breaking up my transactions. I had to switch from the Ban to the colgate toothpaste because the MC for the ban wasn't in my paper and even after the ECB it would have been 99cents and that is my grocery store's price. I ended up with a total OOP after tax of $3.75. Just the 4 12packs of coke would normally be twice that.

CA RITE AID HOUNDS (suzi/saveinla): Can either of you confirm that the Blink Tears are $7.99 FREE after SCR this week for us. I should have asked on Friday, but I totally forgot that sometimes CA gets different deals on the SCRs.

I saw them in the ad on Friday, but did not buy it, since SCR starts on 6/5 for that. There are rumors going around that Ups will be restricted to the cards that they were issued on soon, so if you have any, now would be the time to cash them in. HTH

I always try to have at least one or 2 items as backup, since stores may not have stock or we may not get the coupon. My son loves the Oral B TB too and I am also going to buy 2 of them.
