Or sunscreen? If your Wags has the new beauty books there are sunscreen q's in there plus there are mq's. Not a perfect deal, but ok. Sorry I don't have any other ideas.

I can't believe I just spent real money at RA. LOL. I went to the RA that's further from me, because I remembered they have nice t-shirts. My FIL's b-day is coming up, and I figured I'd pick one up for him. Ended up getting one for my husband too. Can you believe I spent $30 at RA of my own money? Shocking, I know. But it feels nice to shop there, since they've given me such good deals. And this RA actually had the Renpure in stock so that was nice.

Is there ANYTHING on ad that you might need or use in the future? There is butter on ad - that's always a good fallback for me. How are ya doing on TP, paper towels, aluminum foil, and laundry detergent? This is one of the reasons why I like to only do the RR deals that require almost nothing in OOP (to get them) cuz when you're forced to burn them, it's not that big of a deal.

To those of you in California with a Food 4 Less store:I bought 6 Schick 3 blade disposable razors for $4.98 each. The register took off $4.00 each razor, so the net cost was 98 cents a razor. The total for the 6= $5.88 Tax .57 cents New total: $6.45 minus 6 MQ's of $1.00 each. Balance OOP: 45 cents for the 6, all TAX.45 cents divided by 6 razors = ONLY 7 and 1/2 cents a razor.

I know it has been a while, but someone was looking for an Angie's list member to scope out an ex's business...FYI, the Groupon deal for Columbus is an Angie's list membership for $25, in case anyone is interested.

I need your coupon savvy / opinions etc on this one: Family Frugal Fun is running an Extreme Couponing workshop soon in my area for a reasonable cost. Do any of you use that on FB? If so, what do you think? Is it worth it? I have friends who say it is and we are not talking about people who advocate going and buying 48 deodorants and 72 bottles of mustard.

(Now I just have to remember to cancel the subscription.)

mizbear: I'd be wary of paying money for anything when all the information is out there for free already. What are they paying and what does that cost cover? Would folks get the equivalent back in coupons?

Hey ladies,
While getting the M&M in CVS this week, try to get the ones that say "win movie tickets" - my store only had them on the peanut butter ones. I bought 4 and won 3$ off movie ticket or concessions on 2 of them.

RE: RENPURE REBATEDid someone mention an issue with these TMF rebates is you used UPs/RRs/EBs? TIA Yes, it has been reported that they are no longer processing rebates that were bought with RR's, Up's, or EB's. I read somewhere that they specifically posted on their facebook page that they would not honor rebates purchased during the RA deal this week.

Repeating my 6/1 post in the May thread:
Leanna I am the one who called it a bait n switch at WAG. I just KNOW better and will walk out w/o buying anything if I cannot do the entire deal I want. I do NOT need WAG. I have CVS, Walmart, Target, Safeway, Albersons and a BUNCH of independent stores. WAG NEEDS me & my few $$. The WAG foil deal was ONLY for Sun & Mon. Walmart will prob NOT honor it now.
When it comes to EC (I, as a single person seldom buy more than 1-2 of any single item) I think we will see a drop off when they realize the do NOT get $200-300 worth of stuff for $2.95. Hey-here the sales tax is more than that (can run $4.50-$30). They will decide the time planning, effort of clipping and multiple store shopping is not worth it to them. They do NOT realize couponing is like dieting-slow & steady wins the game. Living in a major urban area I can plan routine routes that take me past all store I want. We can only hope the stores do not change policies too much in response to EC.
I have to try using WAG RR at Safeway (Dominicks-sometimes different rules). I have used them at Albersons (Jewel).
Nidena I do not currently have any unused WAG gift cards. I need to check a couple things to determine if it would work for me. Hope to have time sometime this week. I do not shop much at Meijer but it is across the street from my Dad.
Jeep I seldom go to Target because the one on my main route is in a strip mall w/TERRIBLE parking and in/out patterns. Also the cashiers are about as intelligent as a brick. The constantly ‘forget’ my bag credit or only give me 1 when the order CLEARLY fills 2.

Unfortunately, I can't add it to the list right now. I just got my computer back (had to send it in to have the mousepad repaired) and now I can't get into a lot of my word files. I'll see if DH can figure out what is wrong this weekend and remember to add it.

We have been talking about great deals here for over (4) years and there have never been so few deals to chat about. As the summer passes (which is usually slow) and the economy picks up ( ), hopefully we'll all be back "in business" full force before too long.

RE: RENPURE REBATE
I just spoke to a very rude CSR at RENPURE. She said that the $4.99 +UP was the rebate for the product. I asked why the TMF tags were on the bottles and she said that wasn't RENPURE's problem. She also said that the TMF tag specifically states that the offer is not valid with any other offers.
I was under the impression that RA UPs were given by RA. Whatever deal they work out with the manufacturer is between them.
All in all it was misleading....oh well...you live and you learn.

Certainly they would know that their product would be offered for free. I can understand their not giving the rebate in that case, but I don't understand why they would not give a rebate if the product is purchased with EBs vs cash - I don't know why it should make any difference to them what the form of payment is, BUT this is just another example of the "pulling back" by manufacturers and retailers.
