I was reading the grocery store circular this morning and got all excited when I saw that this weekend they're tripling coupons? Even the ones for $1.00? ;D ;D ;D
It's like a minor holiday in our house!

When you start getting excited about the perfect meatloaf, you are in BIG trouble!

Jenny, I get excited when I see a great sale on something too! I think it's just something about us "household executives".

Not as sad as my reaction of "Can I come visit?" ;D

I looooooove it (NOT!!) when people call & say "I'm in the neighborhood, and I'll stop by in 20 minutes" after the kids & dog have totally trashed the house. They must think we're special!

Happyprose, I wouldn't say triple couponing is a thrill, but I do love saving money on stuff I use! We just got back from Pathmark - $42 worth of stuff for $19.60. It's all stuff that will be used, so that's good enough for me!

two questions - where do you live and how long would it take me to get there from VA? We don't have a store that will even double coupons . And second, what is a Pathmark? Is it like an Aldi? Went to our local food lion because everything else is so far away. $71 later, and I was ready to cry

As long as you don't become an 'extreme couponer', I was up way too late one night and saw someone buy 90 boxes of croutons. What the hell is wrong with some people?

Jen, that's how I get with buy one get one free deals. I go nuts, but I make DH pick the items up so he looks like the idiot leaving with two carts full of toilet paper or paper towels and pasta sauce. He said that one time a guy asked him if there was something he should know. LOL!!

My husband is still traumatized from the time that I spotted cooking wine for 89 cents a bottle on clearance at the Food Lion.

I just got super-excited to learn on another thread that I can get cheaper diapers & be eligible for amazon prime through their subscribe & save program.
So, I could understand how tripling coupons could be thrilling.
