Wanna hear something funny? My competition got opened on 22nd and I was pissed. I was frankly going out of my mind!
Imagine running off some business and now someone re-opens it? Mad!!! I am...that's it!
So we sent a few people to spy on a competition...they came back laughing. No one at the store speaks English!!! Man asked how much something was and got a stare. He asked something else and got uncomprehensible something.
Besides that its place is smelly and empty - how can you open a business and no one speaks English???
I am kind of relieved...everyone is saying we have NO thing to worry about but I remember 'do not underestimate'...

I guess that's good news- but how strange! I assume that their market is a specific ethnic group and the workers speak the language of that group? Still, DH and I go into ethnic groceries occasionally- the local Indian-Pakistani grocery has great spices for less than the grocery store- and we'd find it pretty awkward if no one spoke English there.
