I saw a news story on the TV that stock prices on wind, solar, and battery stock were down 32% in 3 months. Is this a buying opportunity or or wait until they crater some more?

When you can tell me how the interest rates will fluctuate over the near future, we can discuss which companies will rebound.

Companies fail all the time, even in fossil fuels. Since I suspect this is a political post to make a point, and not an economic one, who cares. But if you think that fossil fuels have an infinite supply., and cause no environmental issues, of course uou think we will never use alternative energy sources.
Wind and solar energy will be used in the future. How long before they have reached a mature market, who knows. But betting against technology, as conservatives are doing in this instance, has been shown to be a losing strategy. Invest as you like

I bet trump is pissed he missed out on this opportunity... to get money for some shell company(s) that produced nothing but still lined his pockets with money! money! money! It's gotta hurt. Especially when you are as great a business man as trump. Of course, trump would have managed to throw someone else under the bus when the deal failed to produce whatever it was that was promised. Cause that's truly the mark of a great business man. See I'm helping you....

It's the Wild West right now in the renewable energy market. Lots of speculation, hopes and dreams that will never pay out. However, some will be profitable, it's a crap shoot. If you really want to invest, look at their business plan, make sure they have interconnect agreements (these allow them to actually sell the power they generate, currently a 4-year wait for approval), and a source/contract for the components.
Profits are also dependent on subsidies. I give most renewable providers a less than 20% chance of turning a profit.

Not at all But so boring when EVERYTHING turns into a Trump rant. As I said I despise trump
Look at the current events almost all of it is ‘orange man bad’. Can no one here discuss anything else? Guessing not
I only (AFAIK) post from reputable news sources usually Reuters snd WSJ.

The power move was to ignore it. FWIW.
