Has any of you ever dealt with Western Alliance bank? What was your experience?
I want to move a chunk of money into a high interest rate savings account and they currently offer a 4.35% apr. It is FDIC insured and publicly traded on the NYSE. Then again that is also true for Wells Fargo and,I don't want anything to do with them or any bank like it.

We have been talking about this on the savers thread - capital one seemed to be the choice there.
I have bought brokered cds at fidelity- it was 4.5% interest

Thanks. I had seen that but Capital One's rate is a full % lower than lower than at this bank, hence my question whether anyone has dealt with them.

I have $15,000 I need to park somewhere for a bit. DH sold his old truck & told me to decide what yo do with it. I decided we need new flooring, 2 baths need updating and new furniture. It could be needed soon, or it could be a year. That seems like a good place to park it, if it is safe.

Great wall of code! The shorter, more direct route: Capital One Online CD
No minimum balance required on the 11-month CD
