I spent $10.19 on my half of lunch, and then $7.41 on a prescription refill and a RedBull. I shouldn't spend anything else today.

$12 on Amazon for a 2-pk of shampoo. It would have been $15, but I signed up for subscribe-and-save on a six month basis to save 15%. Shipping was 'free' with Prime.

Yesterday 3 pair of pants and 2 tops for work, also a new robe for vacation ~$200. Today $98 groceries, $15 pizza and salad for lunch while helping DD to move. Weekends are expensive. The day's not over, we may go out for dinner.

I bought a Garmin Edge 500 Saturday for my bicycle. It retails at $339.00 but I'm sponsored by a major bike manufacturer and my local bike shop, so I got it for $250, basically their cost. My wireless computer on my road bike quit working and the one on my mountain bike broke in a crash, so I needed 2. This one works on all my bicycles because it's GPS.

Oh yeah, today I'm going to have to buy a new mattress for our spare room. My mom is coming to visit Friday for the weekend, so I need to replace the old, uncomfortible mattress that my daughter slept on when she moved back home. An uncomfortible mattress was one of the deterants we tried to use to get her to cut the apron strings, fly the coop, move on, well, you get the point. She moved out a few weeks ago.....Again. Who knows when she'll be back

I did my part to re-invigorate the economy today...
Trip to Habitat for Humanity's "Re-Store Store": $65 Mostly random stuff for projects around the farmstead, but including a 50# box of 3" finishing nails for $22.50.
Trip to Sam's Club - $152.42 A little more than normal trip (tend to be $80-100 per visit, once every 3 or 4 weeks), but decided to stock up on more stuff than usual. Best buy was three bags of tri-color rotini @$5.48 per 6# bag - can't taste a diff b/w this and Barilla... also got 3 10# bags of sugar, 25# bag of rice $16.76, etc.
Stop at the gas station - around $35. Regular gas (87 octane) @$3.63/gallon
Local farm supply store - three 50# bags of chicken feed @11.95 ea.
McDonalds $6.40... Big Mac meal
Fortunately, today was not an average day....
