haven't been able to log in for 2 days. Not even a site under revision or anything - just "this site can't be reached".
Did I miss a notice or something? Can anyone else get in?

Saw an article that the site has been crashing due to the demand to buy I bonds before the rate drops.

They are backed up and don't have enough staff to answer inquiries. We cashed a few of DH's bonds by sending them in and ran into this. Everyone ran to their web site and crashed it. |

I got in this morning, albeit early--think it was before 5. I had to set up an account plus make a purchase.

I got in last night, but you have to be really patient. And the site graphics didn't come up when it finally loaded, but fortunately I recognized everything including my picture and phrase.
I think they said they aren't guaranteeing that your transaction will complete by Monday. Mine is currently pending at my bank so hopefully so.

I was able to create an account at midnight on Wednesday. No chance during the day though.

I haven't been able to log back in, but I'm pretty sure my transaction that was at like 1230am Thursday went through as Thursday being the next business day. |

I'll bet it's bad all through Monday as people will be trying and hoping they can squeak through. There's a ton of FOMO going on and a lot of people who don't know anything about TD are trying to get in at the last minute.

Probably and then bitching if they end up at the 6%.
I hope enough know the money is stuck for 12 months!
I was debating getting some and pulled the trigger. Was debating putting in more than the 1k I did, but I guess not! Lol
