He plans to use it for future rallies? For what? The "Trump is going to jail" tour?

I remember an article I read about Trump Tower several years back commented on how the fake marble pillars in the grand entranceway were peeling. Exactly the MO of a snake oil salesman - slap some glitter on the surface of some substandard crap and try to peddle it as very high end. Trump steaks, Trump university, Trump water, it’s what he always does. Much like trump's fake Renoir painting hanging in his Trump tower home. trump claims it is the original even though the original Renoir painting has been hanging in a Chicago museum for 80 years. Yeah, I saw that painting on Monday. It was right there on the wall at The Art Institute of Chicago, exactly where it was supposed to be.

How do you transport a plane from NY to LA when it can’t be flown? Triple A?

How do you transport a plane from NY to LA when it can’t be flown? Put on a barge? Transporting it has to be big money.

Disassembled and sent by rail or truck. Huge expense all around.

On the back of a Boeing 747 like the Endeavour did ? I was going to say the Space Shuttles routinely flew on top of a huge plane when they couldn't land at the Cape. But those planes were retired when the Space Shuttle was.

You could follow its progress on the web. That was half a day when productivity must have neared zero and we were all ouside when it finally did pass by. Memories...

Not as grand and spectacular as what you saw, but in 1984 I happened to walk out of my apartment in New Haven, CT and happened to see the 1984 (Los Angeles) Olympic torch running past my place.

I've always lived where you could walk outside and see the launches if it wasn't cloudy. I think college classes were the only ones where I don't remember a launch interrupting a day. At my internship you could hear all the computers on the TV feed while we were trying to figure if it was a go on one of the last few launches. Then everyone got up and ran to one side of the building - since we were high enough we didn't need to go outside. I'm sad that the new launches aren't as much as a spectacle from afar.

Maybe Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene can politely ask the Jews to turn their space lasers into transporters and beam trump's airplane down to the Louisiana service facility for its major repairs.

I predict some kind of a transportation mishap, and a protracted legal battle with the insurance company on an overinflated perceived value for his damaged asset.

DH and I happened to be in DC when they flew the Discovery space shuttle in to Udvar-Hazy National Air and Space museum. I was in the Rayburn House Building when it did the passes over the Mall, and a bunch of us left our meeting to go outside for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Plus we’re all engineers and nerdy like that. It was so cool to see.

It was just relocated to the Smithsonian in the National Mall

(Just a joke about age, which isn’t funny because I think we’re close in age, but couldn’t just leave that opportunity just laying there). My favorite smithsonian vehicle is the tucker car they have. Sexiest car on the planet and normally cars have zero interest for me.
