I would wish everyone a HAPPY New Year, except most of us just had a miserable year, and we have a few miles to go before we sleep.
so, let's do the hard work and make the sacrifices, and have a BETTER New Year than this shitty 2020 was, shall we?

I think the first part of the New Year will be tough with Covid, but having an adult as President who wants to manage the pandemic will be a big plus. I'm hoping June on will be much nicer than anything in 2020. To a better year!  |

One of my coworkers said today that 2021 couldn’t be any worse. I was horrified and blurted out “ please don’t say that! Don’t tempt the universe to show us that it could be even worse!”
I hope and pray that 2021 will be a better year for all of us, and that we’ll be able to all leave the misery of 2020 behind and move on to better and brighter days.

I made a 2020 out of trimmed boughs wrapped with used face masks and alcohol wipes, hung it on a trellis in one of my idle raised garden beds, and when it got dark we dosed it with alcohol and burned it.
It was pretty satisfying, except in typical 2020 fashion the edge of the raised bed caught on fire and we had to douse it with a bucket of water.
I hate this year.
