The US already has what we call cow killers. I can't seem to copy an image. It's actually a red velvet ant.
Another bad bug is the black and white wasp.

Another bad bug is the black and white wasp. I had to look this up. The red velvet ant is actually a wasp, and the black and white wasp is the bald-faced hornet. Regardless, some mean critters. I just about crapped the first time I saw a cicada killer wasp. They are about 2’’ long. However, these are relatively harmless.

I remember I did a paper in school on the red velvet ant many years ago. This was before you could find out much about them on the internet. I emailed an entomologist that specialized in them and he was super excited that someone showed an interest in them. He mailed me a bunch of publications that mentioned them and kept in touch for months afterwards. Nice guy, but I felt bad that I wasn’t THAT interested them, I just liked red velvet cake and thought the ant name was interesting and obscure enough that no one else would be doing a paper on the same thing.

In future, can you please put something besides just a link in your post? I have asked others not to just links and nothing more. Only fair that I ask the same of you. It's not that hard to add a short sentence.

Sure, why not giant murder hornets. It's not like we had anything else going on.
I'm starting to think some particularly disagreeable aliens must be sticking pins into an Earth voodoo doll.
