this guy won his seat in red meat SD county while under indictment. I pretty much knew he was going down, but SD county voted him in.
now, his seat is open. I am predicting that it will stay open through November, as it increases Democrats chances of taking it.
more here:
After claiming to be the victim of a political witch hunt for more than a year, Hunter pleaded guilty Dec. 3 to a single charge of conspiring with his wife to illegally spending at least $150,000 in campaign funds on personal expenses. Among the improper spending were a birthday gathering for his young daughter at a posh California hotel and social outing with friends at a French bistro in Washington.
He is scheduled to be sentenced March 17. The judge could impose the maximum sentence of five years, but prosecutors have said they will ask for no more than a year of jail time.
three things about this:
1) he claimed witch hunt, but pleaded guilty. remember that for later 2) he was the first guy to endorse Trump. and one of many that is going to jail, now. 3) there is a very good chance he will be watching the election from jail.
any final thoughts about this rapacious ratbastard?

Yep. Duncan Hunter's last name is the same as Hunter Biden's first name. The plot thickens. #GOPlogic
