If you are on Twitter, follow the Auschwitz Museum. They are trying to get to 1 million followers.
Heart breaking photos and stories every day, but sometimes beautiful stories of people in desperate times and conditions helping comfort and care for each other.

Interesting, Dezii. Thanks for posting the article.
In the article it mentions Roby Joffo - whose uncle, Joseph Joffo, wrote the Holocaust memoir, A Bag of Marbles.
I thought I was buying the novel A Bag of Marbles on Amazon several years ago. What I ended up with was the graphic version of the novel. Graphic as in instead of multiple pages of text, I ended up with water-colored type pictures with portions of the novel in each panel. Much like a comic-book but with multiple small panels on each page and 128 pages long.
Turns out what I bought was for students grades 9-12. The graphic version I bought, new, was $20 more than if I bought the text-only novel. After reading it, I donated it to the Memphis Jewish Community Center. Good read regardless of the format.

A good book to read about people hiding others during this time: The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom.

A good book to read about people hiding others during this time: The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. And Corrie ten Boom was recognized by Israel as Righteous Among the Nations.
