He is not conservative enough for me but he is the much more than any other. The dems want to spend the wealth I earned mine do not want to share. I pay for my healthy care buy my own food own my own home because I worked and continued to improve myself never get food stamps, welfare or collected even one unemployment check. If I can do it it proves any one can Of course you don't. Conservatives never want to share. I don't want to share, either. my SSI taxes (and the matching benefits I send to employees) are going to pay for Trump Supporters.

I can be the SOB not bothering me one bit. I was at the store the other day a well trained in shape woman, her muscle bound other were in line ahead played with EBT than hold the bagger he had to take to car. At gas station watched person buy shot with EBT card get into new car. Wife takes food Sunday's to church to feed the poor. See more expensive cars, well dress folks then at a good restaurant. See more of that the one with real need. Do not care about punctuation if that is all you got I made my point. in the ghetto, cars are a signifier of stature in the sense that McMansions are in the burbs. everything is a matter of scale.
do I think it suckx? yes, I do. I despise ostentation. but it exists at all levels of American society. and it is as repulsive at "church" as it is at home.
witness the Golden Toilet. could there be anything more repulsively decadent? if so, I have trouble imagining it.

If you were going to assume that everyone who disagrees with you politically has the vilest intentions possible, you have nobody but yourself to blame when the other side does the same. For example, in the 1960s, liberals created a welfare system that Was badly structured, rewarding self-destructive behavior, and punishing any efforts to improve oneself. We all know that those cliffs in the welfare system are a problem, where getting a $200/month raise means you lose $1000 in benefits. For the next 30 years, liberals defended this poorly structured welfare system by accusing anyone who criticized it of being racist, sexist, and wanting to hurt children. If I was going to do what you were doing, I could say that creating a permanent underclass of self-destructive, dependent people who would inflict untold damage on innocent children was exactly what liberals wanted. I could also say that the reason liberals fought tooth and nail to keep the status quo was because they wanted as many children as possible to end up damaged. Or I could give the benefit of the doubt and think that well intentioned people made an honest mistake, and fought for the status quo because they were afraid that something worse would happen if they didn’t. What does any of that have to do with racist dog whistles? Because for 30 years, liberals claimed that objecting to a welfare system that paid people to be stupid was a racist dog whistle. And now you’re claiming that wanted wanting educated people to come to this country instead of uneducated people is also a racist dog whistle. And apparently wanting to have any control over who enters our country is also a racist dog whistle. The fact that something happens to be correlated with race does not automatically mean that the motivation is racism. I have many cousins who were hurt terribly because the trash that spawned them had an economic incentive to keep their children, instead of letting the relatives who had their act together give the kids a better life. Lots of people have those kind of relatives. Calling anyone who objected to a poorly structured welfare system racist is what gave you Newt Gingridge and the contract with America. I knew a lot of guys in college would spent their summers working 16 hour days at various dirty jobs. They would arrive at college with their tuition paid. Now that these jobs are being taken over by illegals, those jobs are harder to get and the wages aren’t keeping up with inflation. Calling anyone who would object to de facto open borders a racist is a good part of what gave you Donald Trump. If you want to live in a country that has a robust safety net, national healthcare, free college, and so on, then you need to argue policy on its merits instead of calling everyone who disagrees with you evil and stupid. And when a program is shown to have unintended consequences, be willing to tweak it instead of digging in your heels. It was obvious from the 1970s that Johnson’s new society was creating as many problems as it was solving. Had Liberals been willing to enact sensible welfare reform in the 1980s instead of calling everyone who disagreed with them a Nazi, we could’ve still had a robust safety night instead of having it gutted in the 90s when the Republicans took over Congress. The failure of the war on poverty has caused a lot of people to lose faith in the government. You’ve got to get that faith back somehow. I don’t know how you’ll do it, but I sure hope you do.

It feels like you are ignoring anyone, at any income level can be laid off and qualify for food stamps. They do not immediately sell their homes, cars, get thrift store clothes. There were Wall Street bankers going to a food pantry I was.

I think we should take educated Ethiopians in as high, or higher numbers, than educated Norwegians, however.
then again, I think this is already the case, so this argument is kinda all wet on the surface, and a smoke screen, imo.
