I am missing something, I know I will be told about what I am missing. $20,000,000. for a passed over promotion, because he is gay? $40,000,000, because some one took pictures of a sports reporter thru a wall spy camera?? But only a couple of million for an innocent unarmed person wrongfully shot and killed by police?? Why are occurrences so far above that of some one losing their life?? Yea something beside that I used three "I" in one short sentence.

Quite frankly damage awards in employee/employer civil suits seem to go too far in government jobs areas. I have no problem with wrongful death/bad injury suits being whatever they are. In employee public service suits, Anything over whatever their life long career dollar earnings amount would be (at the higher job position they were denied) plus say a 50%, even 100% damage award should suffice. You win the suit stay where you are if you can, or retire, or go to another job pursuit after that. Yes, I understand we have to make businesses pay a steep price for things like this, but public employees, I disagree with slightly. They are sueing property owners who do not have control over these situations. It does seem like some wrongful death/police brutality suits seem to be hitting the bigger payouts these days. It is what it is. (I used at least three "I"s, but in two sentences )

This aggravates me, I see it is now only 19 million $$$$$$$$,,
Then we have the innocent man, in Wichita KS, stepped out on his porch to see what all the flashing light are about. Dead in 10 seconds,, at this point there is no compensation what so ever,, and maybe years before this will be settled,, for a few million $$$ Some how,, A violent death by the hands of an out of control police force,, should have greater value, in putting forth proper guide lines than some one being told to tone down the Gayness!! Good thing is,, he was not shot,, that would only been good for at best,,,, a couple of million $$$$ See Bills, how wonderful your Government works.

Also I've now got other problems because I just read that the horrendous fires that are burning in my state are caused by the fact that we are to concerned about having diverse fire departments? My poor head can't take it anymore

My poor head can't take it anymore It isn't so much that I am concerned about other things. "My government" is working on issues with police use of force: lInitiative 940, modifying law regulating police use of deadly force, passes with strong support
