seems is a great case of and example of "chutzpa"...A Yiddish word for...well let me explain..See below The suit is because: "Lawyers for U.S. President Donald Trump and his re-election campaign have threatened in a letter to sue CNN for what they said was the network falsely advertising itself as a news organization, calling on executives to first discuss an "appropriate resolution" to the matter that would include a "substantial" payment to cover damages." Example of "Chutzpa.." Say a man is brought and tried before a judge , charged with murdering his parents...Judge , after hearing the case , declares the man is guilty but before sentencing the man asks for mercy...citing he is a orphan... that is chutzpa... In this case, the Donald is questioning , IMHO, that CNN is not a news organization because of...? As the POTUS he is the news...daily, hourly 24/7...so they report his actions..plus other happenings around the globe...They also have analysis of his actions too...that part is still news as there are commentators on both sides discussing the man, interpreting his actions..what they mean and why.....as well as other topics of local , national and global happenings...thus a news organization. Possible the Donald doesn't like how they are reporting and discussing him ...thus the threatened suite ….? =========================== www.yahoo.com/news/trump-threatens-sue-cnn-seeks-174317155.html---------------------------------- Wicki definition of..: "In Hebrew, chutzpah is used indignantly, to describe someone who has overstepped the boundaries of accepted behavior. ... Leo Rosten in The Joys of Yiddish defines chutzpah as "gall, brazen nerve, effrontery, incredible 'guts', presumption plus arrogance such as no other word and no other language can do justice to"
Now that to me is the Donald.

Can the American public sue Fox News for falsely advertising itself as a news organization?

suits against the media almost never work. but if he wants to waste more of his resources fighting losing causes, I welcome it.

He'll probably use campaign contributions....Trump never spends a dime of his own money. Even Barron's registration fee of $7.00 for the Boy Scouts came out of Trump's "charitable foundation". Yep, other people paid for it, intending it to go to charity.
