I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. Can I hope it really doesn't happen?, PLEASE ! I appreciate the postings of AgeOfEnlightenmentSCP . I am not going to go searching for what the radical right fringe is saying so I think it is great that it is brought here by such an excellent representative of their thought feeling process.

read a little thing on Hunter Biden this morning. it appears that there is no "there" there. color me shocked. You say that as if facts matter. Well at least now I have so much proof of how facts and reality don't matter to some people, I won't be surprised in the future when I encounter more reality deniers.

"You have admitted, more than once, that you post to get a rise out of others, then complain when you get what you went after. You make up stories to push your point of view, or back up something you've posted."

Read your linked article again. The 100 foot waves will be around the center of the hurricane which is 2,000 miles from Florida. Your article also states minor coastal erosion around Florida. What is your reading problem?

It's the higher tides that are hitting Fl. right now....flooding a lot of coastal areas...forget what they call them...old age is my excuse! From what I read, those tides are worse in the fall of the year.

Wasn't it you who was recently complaining about the lack of hurricanes, in an attempt to counter climate change? I replied that hurricane season isn't over, yet. Happy, now that several major ones have hit?

More fuel to the impeachment train?
"...Rep. Richard Neal, the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over taxes, tariffs, and other social-assistance programs, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on August 8 saying that a federal employee submitted "an unsolicited communication" on July 29 outlining allegations of "inappropriate efforts to influence" the mandatory IRS audit of Trump's and Vice President Mike Pence's tax returns.
In his letter, first widely reported this week, Neal described the whistleblower's allegations of "evidence of possible misconduct" as credible..."

Sorry, Welts I was referring to the headline Hurricane Lorenzo Churns Up Surf For Thousands of Miles Across the Atlantic; Some Wave Heights Could Top 100 Feet
I add my two cents worth of "It is going to be the 100 ft wave that hit Florida." I should have added

Trump's foul mood leads him deeper into darknessWashington (CNN)President Donald Trump is hardly acting like a very stable genius. Instead, his unleashed fury, fact-bending rants and persecution complex are conjuring an image of someone seeing his presidency slipping through his hands. While current political conditions seem unlikely to lead to his ouster from office, Trump appears increasingly powerless to save himself from the historical scar of impeachment. He has crushed just about every norm since descending his golden escalator to launch his 2016 presidential campaign. Now he's reinventing how presidents deal with an existential scandal. And it seems to be leading him deeper into the darkness. After a day of poor media reviews for his unrestrained tirades on Wednesday, Trump became even angrier on Thursday -- calling on Communist China to open an investigation into Joe Biden -- a potential 2020 general election opponent. Complete article here: Trump's foul mood leads him deeper into darkness

I just don't get the though process. You're under investigation for asking a foreign government to investigate your political opponent....so you ask him again and then triple down (because Australia) and ask not only another foreign government but one you're currently in a trade war with and thus have ample ammunition for a quid pro quo?

If someone is a political opponent, they have free reign and can't be investigated for criminal activity ? Don't get what you're trying to say here. If that applies, isn't Trump a political opponent of the Democrats ?

John Oliver once called this kind of lying "genuinely disruptive" because it causes you to question your own memory of things. he says things with such CONVICTION that you HAVE to employ your records to determine whether it is true or not.
