Only two Justices were against the decision and their argument was the court is acting too fast and should let it play out in the courts. Since it was playing out in the courts, and tried to stop Trump, it had to go to them for immediate response. Note they are not dissenting that the action is illegal.
from the article:
Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor dissented, saying the court acted too quickly and should allow the case to work its way through the normal judicial process.

so you are in favor of cheap produce from Mexico rather than semi cheap produce from the southern states and California? The Mexican border is strewn with American coroporate factories turning out product at a fraction of the cost here at the expense of thousands of jobs of democratic union workers here. Not much of a serious argument there

I am holding out for the four hundred bucks month Warren is promising me and the wife from Social security increase. It will cover my monthly Gumball head beer and the wife's Pina Collada bill nicely leaving enough for a few appetizers. Quite frankly I am too old to work long hours in the fieelds any longer. I just do not like people posting s tuff and using suchobnoxious reasons why Trump is an idiot, in their tds mind

Who exactly is going to pick the cheap produce from southern states and California? If the produce is going to be cheap then the wages are going to be even cheaper as the produce producers need to make money to continue producing the cheap produce.

Trump has had a good two days with outcomes. Yesterday the court decision on fake asylum seekers and today McCabe is facing charges. Democrats are still going the Impeachment route but even the Judiciary committee was all over the board this morning. I would assume the Impeachment question will be asked tonight at the debate, but not sure if ABC wants to put these people on the spot. A week or so ago I said I was ot sure Trump wil win in 2020, but everything is starting to point to a rout in 2020 for Trump. Now we wait and see if he has coat tails and bring thr House red too.

Those illegal aliens don't want get caught up in those sweeps. You remember those ICE chicken processing plant raids last month, yes? California farmers increasingly turning to mechanization due to labor shortages, says surveyFarmers in the nation’s top agriculture state are increasingly moving to different forms of mechanization to get around the farm labor crunch, according to a California Farm Bureau survey. The number of farm workers in California has been gradually declining in the past several years and stepped-up immigration sweeps by the federal government in California haven’t helped. Labor shortages have been especially tough on farmers with crops such as tree fruits, grapes and berries. More than 40% of farmers in the past five years have been unable to obtain all the workers they needed for the production of their main crop, according to the survey, released Tuesday. Of the total reporting shortages, it found about 70% or more indicating they have experienced more trouble hiring in 2017 and 2018. Not much of a serious argument there I will presume that you have never grown a garden? Many crops won't grow year round in all climates & some won't grow at all in certain areas....so, we often get produce that can't be produced in the US at a particular time the year...from other countries including Mexico. However, with climate change...some of that is changing, slowly.

You mean to tell me that it was a LIE from Trump? As you well know, removing ten million illegals takes some time. It is a ten year supply on hand, so even at a million a year, it takes ten years to clean up the back log and this does not reflect the new ten million that have come here during that new ten year period. I would prefer we bus them northward, Hand them each a thousand dollars and tell them Canada is their dream destination.

Looks like their policy of letting them in, to pass through to the US, falls directly in their laps now. (bolded) Thinking that they might have to actually pay for that wall, on their southern border. Oh my, this is kind of funny !

All they need to do is pay fifty bucks an hour! right. and that would cause food prices to double, at least. Well, our Space Coast Paul doesn't mind if food prices double or triple or if an avocado costs $5. He said so, but he has money. I guess that means nobody should mind, even if they're already having trouble feeding their families and making ends meet. "I don't think like "normal" people, I don't have the same gripes as most people- like for example, I could give a shit if an avocado is $4 bucks or $5. I've read the price of gas is pretty low-- but I have no idea what it cost when I filled up today. I used to have to worry about all that shit- but every year I care less about it."

I would prefer it, if we just said we're full, load them right onto a bus, instead of housing them at $750 a day, and drop them right at the Canadian border. The buses will come north in big caravans. Way, way, cheaper. Might even be able to lower a tariff a wee bit. All those arguments used, for how they're good for the US, should easily apply to Canada. That cheap labor will easily offset the tariffs for Canadian companies. Win, Win !

All they need to do is pay fifty bucks an hour! That won't work...MOST, not all, but most can NOT handle the conditions in the fields down here. MANY would die. Do YOU think that YOU could pick veggies in the Az. heat all day from daylight to nearly dark? Could you stand that?...and then down here you add our humidity and it's worse than the Az. heat. We can have 100º & 50% or higher humidity. If you don't rehydrate, you fall out. We have had several Hispanics die around here in the fields and their bodies are more used to than those who don't work in the fields.

You expect them all to gather in one place so that ICE could pick them up more easily? They may not speak English, but they're not stupid.
