Removing protections from the bear, revered as sacred to a multitude of tribes, would have left the grizzly vulnerable to high-dollar trophy hunts and lifted leasing restrictions on some 34,375 square miles. Extractive industry, livestock and logging interests are among those desirous of capitalizing on the area, a region comprised of tribal treaty, reserved rights and ceded lands.
Trump and his idiot spawn love trophy hunting. The more endangered, the better.

You just have to love the irony of Cheney saying that returning the grizzly bear to the endangered species list was "not based on science or facts". And here I thought that the lack of science would be seen as a positive by her!

The Indians would consider a pile of Cow dung as sacred! If they thought it could be used to keep every one but Indians out. The great Indian Environmentalism, Just after sunrise driving into the Sun going to Tuba City AZ. on the Navajo Reservation,
You notice the side of the pavement is littered with shiny pieces, literally millions of pieces, reflecting the Sunlight. It is from broken beer, wine, and whiskey bottles that were thrown out of the cars driving up and down the road! No problem with littering the countryside with broken beer wine and whiskey bottles,,
But by God you better not make snow out of reclaimed water for the ski area on the San Fransisco peaks.
