What measures have they taken since the last election to strengthen election security and do security experts feel they are adequate?
As far as I know we are not even close to attaining election security.

To answer the question in the title...YES! That is the only way they can win in many areas...cheat/gerrymandering..or let Russia do their dirty work for them.

I'm not sure if they think they need to cheat to win or if they don't want to admit Russia did interfere in our election to help Donald get elected.
How could his election be beautiful if someone handed it to him?
Either way, the GOP has done nothing to improve it. They're just worried about illegals being allowed to vote, which almost never happens.

They know they cannot win in a fair election, so they don't want to hinder the Ruskies.

So When are all of you voting for Trump? cheating would imply that it doesn't matter who we vote for.
does that not concern you?

You did catch that Mueller said Hillary benefited also from the Russians. no, I did not catch that, nor have I heard it before now.
I am betting he didn't actually say that, because that doesn't sound like him at all.
but I would entertain any evidence you can bring.

I have already answered that question four times. I will make it a 5th.
it didn't matter how I voted. I don't live in WI, MI, or PA. also, it was undecided voters that were targeted in those states. those, as it turned out, were the only votes that mattered. I was not an undecided voter.
your question implied that the campaign didn't matter. but I think it is reasonable to assume that it DID matter. there is a really good analysis, which I have already posted. it only took a swing of 0.35% in those three states to win the election. there were WAY more undecided voters than that.
they went for Trump 2:1

Robert Mueller said to the Intelligence Committee that hackers Hillary received a lot of the same behavior from Russian hackers that Trump received:
Asked by Democratic Rep. Jim Himes which candidate Russian hacking was designed to benefit, Mueller answered Trump — but he added ‘there were instances where Hillary Clinton was subject to much the same behavior.

so, the hackers pumped up Trump and attacked Hillary. that is the same trolling BEHAVIOR designed to benefit Trump and not Hillary.
so, yeah. he didn't say what you said he said.

I never claimed it was "great". in fact, for a LONG TIME, I didn't think it was SUFFICIENT. but since then, I have changed my mind. I think it WAS sufficient.
so, your argument is a red herring. in order to have been an effective target for this campaign you would have to have been:
1) a resident of MI, WI, or PA 2) an undecided voter 3) a consumer of social media as news
I am NONE of those three. so for ME, it was a SHITTY campaign. but it may well have been a GREAT campaign for 70k voters. and that is all it would have taken.

behavior is not the same thing as benefit.
for example, if I grope you, my BEHAVIOR might "benefit" me. but it won't benefit YOU. unless you are into that kind of thing.
