I just got back from my first session of physical therapy. Nothing like finding out what you cannot do, how you cannot move and what muscles feel like water and don't do what you want them to do.
My original intention was to blow this off and just go to the gym and do the exercises that I was prescribed last time. Glad I didn't decide to do that, because the issues that I have this time are NOT the same ones that I had last time.
The other take home message......there are 100 ways to do an exericse, 99 of them are incorrect.

yeah, I learned all that the hard way - especially the 100 ways to do an exercise part. Now I have chronic nerve issues in my lower back.

But I thought you could learn PT from a book checked out from the library! Isn't PT sucking up tax payer dollars? That's what YM says. ;D I hear you about muscles, I had no idea how many were involved in something as simple as a cough till I popped a stitch after labor. Hope you feel better soon and at least now you know the one way to do your exercises.

Yeah, I kind of figured that so that's why I don't even bother exercising. Really. It's not just because I'm lazy and stuff. Mich, It's a good thing you didn't try it on your own or you could have hurt yourself! I hope you get your muscles in shape soon where it doesn't hurt so bad! Will you do some for me too - preferably in the belly area? TYIA! I don't see my karma clock but I just did Famcfo about 20 minutes ago and I will get you soon!

I feel for you and all your OuchouchouchouchouchouchOUCHes!!!! Get well soon. Try to develop muscle even after you're healed.. which will eventually come. Our bodies break down 1-3% muscle mass per year after ~30 years old. It is one tough struggle.

At 2500 miles, that's a long distance massage.
