I know someone who was just at the National Senior Games. She ran the 400m, 800m, and 1500m races.

My brother used to coordinate and officiate competitions for the MN Senior Games. From his descriptions, the entry requirements aren’t very demanding. Pretty much just sign up. If you’re curious, go for it. See what it’s all about.

Yup. Been there, done them and have the medals to prove it. Mostly in swimming, but I did medal in the cycling time trials last year. This year, I want to attempt three sports: swimming, cycling and running. National Games are local to me in 2021, and I cannot wait!'

A friend that plays pickleball with me got bronze in frisbee golf. I did the regular state games in golf one year. My H. was to play with me but got called to work. The person they replaced him with should have been in special olympics section. It was miserable.
