Trump - No collusion. Listen to the silence. I wonder if any of the network news shows will issue Trump a mea culpa. My bad, Oops, we're sorry. We were wrong to bang the hate Trump drum loudly ever since day 1 you were elected with no hard facts to back up our bias.
Now what are the network news shows going to do? Maybe they should start being unbiased and do their job according to the tenets and ethics of proper journalism. Maybe investigate the people that gave false testimony before congress. And what about the Clinton Foundation. That would be a great place to start. Lots of skeletons in that closet I'm sure that don't want to see the light of day.
That my friend would be something to watch unfold.

Trump - No collusion. Listen to the silence. I wonder if any of the network news shows will issue Trump a mea culpa. why should they apologize?
nobody said he was guilty.

Back in the middle 70's and into the 80's before instant news came in. Before the 30 second news bite. Talking heads. No facts. I worked in a large market TV news room and watched the reporters really dig out the facts before they went on the air. Their facts were solid. If they had a big story, they met with the news director and previewed the story. They interviewed both sides. Many times if the story couldn't be vetted, it wouldn't air until it was wholly checked out. True journalism. Unlike today's instant news.
I was brought up on Huntley-Brinkley, Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather and many more greats of the news business. If they made a mistake they made a correction the next day on air. I rarely see this on today's cable new channels. And on occasion when they didn't have all the facts, they would do a opinion piece with a "opinion banner" font behind them. You never see this now. I may have been naive then but I never felt they were pushing a agenda like today. Today, they say their opinion as fact. No remorse. They need to reread their college journalism text books and take a refresher course in ethics and reporting.
My dad was Republican, my mom was Democrat. Many hours was spent listening to them on politics. Until about 30yrs ago I voted straight democrat.

right. back in the 70's, there were literally hundreds of media outlets competing for your eyes and ears. well over half the market was subscription, not free. the media was adversarial to government, and journalists were respected and well compensated for their work.
fast forward. there are less than half a dozen companies that control half the media market in the US. they don't have to compete, nor is it economical to do so- so they copy each other. canned news is passed around like canned music is on top 40 radio. because major corporations control the media AND the government, they are not adversarial- they are imbedded. they toe the party line so that they can get access to government for news and favors, and vice versa. and the media is packed with people that have opinions, but are not professionals. they have no respect for journalism, nor are they respected. and the result is that both the media and the government are not trusted.
we are in a bad place in the US, and it is getting worse every year. I don't know how it ends, but I would guess not well.

I never bought into the whole "deep state" thing, believed the "Military IndustrialComplex" issue was real, but now believe media and the entrenched upper echelon Government lifers are in a "Deep State" collusion to the detrimate of all citizens. The DOJ, FBI, CIA at the leadership level all need some housecleaning now.

Or when the MSM fanned the flames against Hillary, when 11 different Congressional investigations couldn't find any proof that she treasonously caused American lives to be lost in Bengazhi?
If you did, I must have missed them.

i will add this, since you brought in law enforcement: the more transparent justice is, the more trustworthy it becomes.

The OP bothered me in a few ways. Mostly, President Trump brings most of his problems on himself by his constant lying. They are not misstatements, they are bald faced lies. Last night he stated on Hannity that Russia wanted Hillary to be President. Did he hear what Putin said during the meeting in Helsinki? Investigate people who gave false testimony before Congress? Weren't most of those people his associates? Investigate the Clinton foundation? Didn't Republican control the House during his first two years? I believe he stated during the campaign he was going to appoint a special prosecutor. Who bears responsibility that hasn't been investigated? No hard facts? You think if anyone, regardless of party, was running for President of the United States and were meeting with the RUSSIANS to get dirt on their opponent, then lied about it, the media should say "no biggie"? Getting any conservative to admit President Trump has a problem with the truth would be something to watch unfold.

There you go! Who claims Fox Cable news is not fair and balanced? They post both sides of the argument. now who is the author? CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM MARY ANNE MARSH Mary Anne Marsh is a Democratic political analyst and a principal at Dewey Square Group in Boston where she provides strategic counsel for Fortune 100 companies, non-profits and political campaigns. Should we expect a Democratic political analyst to write an opinion piece that exonerates Trump?

Most loyal trump fans loathe the guy. And Fox probably only employs him so they can claim they are fair and balanced.

There you go! Who claims Fox Cable news is not fair and balanced? that phrase is meaningless, imo. if you dig into it, it doesn't look as good as it sounds.
