I'll post a link when one becomes available. I just watched his concession speech. I'm horrified to discover two years ago that my town is as Trumpette as it is. way more Diehl signs, and in public places they shouldn't be. but this was one of the first MA races to be called, so I shouldn't have been so nervous. No real surprise there. The sad part is that one of the best candidates in any race in the country-- maybe in my lifetime-- was completely overlooked by both the media and the voters there: Shiva Ayyadurai

Maybe because Shiva Ayyadurai tried to stab his arresting officer with a pen?  In June 2005, Ayyadurai was charged with assault & battery after his girlfriend called police to report he had pushed and shoved her during an argument. According to a police report detailing the incident, Ayyadurai allegedly resisted arrest and attempted to stab the arresting officer with a pen. After he was taken into custody, an emergency 209A restraining order was issued against Ayyadurai banning him from having contact with her.[76] In July 2017, this was revealed on The Howie Carr Show.[77] [78] Shiva Ayyadurai |
