That wasn't firm enough...oh, uh, I mean you have to come off a little stronger than that, Rick, OH, UM...I am sure I will just keep stumbling around words and phrases all wrong!

If you work AND take classes, your crocodile will miss you.... and your garden... and any ducks you may want to adopt this year... and...

Sadly SBS, my house and garden are sorely neglected, but it is only dust and weeds. Both can be fixed again...eventually!
Ratchets. A lot more than I would like at this point. My first summer semester was two classes that aren't even credited towards my degree, I had to re-take algebra, because it had been so long since I did it in HS. All of last year, all I could afford was one class per semester. At this point I have 16 credits ( 24 if you count the algebra classes I had to take ) If all 3 classes make over the summer, and the 3 classes I want to take in the fall, I will have 27 credits just in this year, and that will put me a about 2/3 of the way through.

I actually think summer courses are easier, sorry to say. You can normally take the summer courses in more than one session and the people there during the summer are normally more dedicated to getting done what needs to be don't and less prone to nonsense. But if you need a break then try this. CHEESEY WHAT THE E ARE THINKING?!?!? STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!!!!How was that?

STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT! Actually, you have awesome ambition! Just be warned, if you don't at least take a little break in the summer, you may burn out. (What's a few more months, anyway?)

Two of the classes are online, and they cram a whole normal term into 6 weeks. The other class is on campus, and class meets for 10 weeks, and the class time is a little longer than during spring and fall term, so you are really getting the same education, just crammed into shorter weeks. Fortunately I opted to take the online classes one after another, so they don't run at the same time. 97, your mom voice works really well!

Why not sign up for one more so that you'll have something to do in your spare time? Or maybe two more? That way you won't have to worry about being bored

Every class is another one knocked out though cheesy! At 16 credits now, 27 by the end of the year you are really doing well. I know it's a struggle, it was for me just getting an associates degree, and you are going for a (big) step above that. It will pay off though, trust me on that. You are doing very well though, keep it up. Do you have any sort of checklist where you can tick things off as you accomplish them? That always seems to help me, on those big goals, just to see that I'm indeed making progress every once in awhile. Actually, this is my associates right now. The goal is to get out of what I am doing right now, as my hubby does the same thing, and the construction industry is just to volatile to have two incomes in the same shaky industry. After I am all finished with AS, I want to take harder math and see if I might be good for the engineering program at USF.

Hmmm, how about the very subtle guilt-ridden approach: "Cheesy, where is your DD going to be this summer?"

Well, one will still be in Boston, the other one is planning to move to VT! ETA: I stopped being guilted by the girls when they went on their own. I am sure that will change when grandkids show up, which is far far into the future!

I don't think he thought he could either! It was practially every day for almost the whole year.
I still think I deserve some of the credit for not killing him during the process. ;D

Now if DH would do some things around here during the week that I don't specifically have to ask him to do.

I know it sux Cheesy, but when I was working and in school, I crammed in as much as I could, just because I wanted to be done with it! Especially if the classes are online. Just think, the sooner you finish, the less money you will have to keep spending for tuition. (Sorry I didn't discourage you- I just have been in your situation and am telling you what I did)
