I was talking to someone who is absolutely 100%, convinced that the world will end on September 24, 2018. END OF THE WORLD? Nibiru to 'appear in 2018 and DESTROY THE PLANET' THE beginning of the end of the world is to commence in Spring of 2018, and later on in the year Planet X will appear and cause widespread destruction on Earth, according to Christian numerologist David Meade. www.express.co.uk/news/weird/916875/END-OF-THE-WORLD-Nibiru-2018-planet-x-david-meade-israel-apocalypse"Oh yeah? If the world is going to end in a week, why are you still going to work, instead of spending time with your loved ones?" I got no answer besides crickets.

Could you get them to hand over all their finances effective COB 9/24/2018 to me and you 50/50? Maybe it will be enough to buy a good camera, finance a film, or something. Lots of exciting things are happening, but I anticipate the world being here like it was after Jan 1, 2000 and all the other false alarms.

Well this video says Nibiru is an asteroid and not a planet.
I would post videos of Nibiru being a planet, but September 24 will come and go before you are done watching those videos.

Actually it's original appointment was last September, and when it could't make it, it rescheduled to last April. I think at this point we should just fire it as a customer.

Very few people like to acknowledge death - much less their own death.

A survey was done some years ago asking people what they would do if they knew the world was going to end in one week.
80% replied they would get their affairs in order.

If the whole world will end, I'm leaving it as messy as possible. But I will tell you....I'm not gonna eat broccoli with my dinner.

David Meade is a "Christian numerologist". I guess he didn't get the memo that prophecy and numerology are forbidden in the good book.

weltschmerz, if you see him again, could you ask him if I can have his stuff? Do you know if he has anything good? Nice jewelry? A late-model car (or a valuable vintage auto)? Fine art? Antiques? If he doesn't have anything good, don't bother. People are stupid. There is no delusion so batshit crazy that someone (usually many someones) will not believe it simply to avoid thinking for him/herself.

I believe in astronomy AND astrology. However, any good practitioner of the latter knows astrology of any stripe predicts tendencies. It guarantees nothing. Free will and all that.
And I don't think prophecy is forbidden in the bible, otherwise there's a whole bunch of folks who don't belong in the old testament and even in the new. There will always be people who want to "know" so they will come up with a system that they are convinced is correct. Meh.

Is half of his money going to make me rich on the 25th?

First time I heard the world was coming to an end I was around 10. Walking thru a park and some dude was up a tree holding a bible yelling we were all doomed and the end was near. Two days later he made the news - he fell out of the tree. Didn't die just broke his leg. Said he was drunk. Guess you know who looks after fools and drunks!

Astronomy is a real science. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astronomer and astrophysicist. Astrology, however, is bullshit.

The guy I know who is convinced that this will happen is a friend of a friend. He has a nice collection of Inuit wolf carvings, but not much else. I'm working on it. They'd look great in my living room.

I hope you are able to get him to give them to you in anticipation of the end of the world, though he might want to spend his last moments in contemplation of his treasures. You never can tell with the truly loopy ones.

I was thinking astrology, I don't know if I typed it wrong or if my phone changed it for me. My phone changes a lot of things in totally weird ways. So, let's go with that. 😄😄😄
