Hey, this is a generational thing.....that list could vary depending on your generation...….AND....what part of the country you come from.....only a thought....(This boomer has some problems with computer stats anyway)

Hey, this is a generational thing.....that list could vary depending on your generation...….AND....what part of the country you come from.....only a thought....(This boomer has some problems with computer stats anyway) I tracked down the link. How the list was created: ... uses digital processing technology to identify attributes of songs, such as valence, instrumentation, and key signature (pdf). The company created a proprietary algorithm to determine the “danceability” of a song based on its tempo and beat regularity. The calculation emphasizes the ability to dance throughout the whole song, so a bridge that even briefly changes the mood is highly penalized. So it is actually the play list for a Nerds Dance Party.

This is a great song for help with losing and keeping weight off - it has more than one great thing going for it I hate to admit that I remember the original version of this which didn't become the hit that it became when Chubby Checker put it out.

But see, there is still bias. It says from 1958, however the oldest song listed is 1976. As a bona fide member of the 1960's...……..well, there is something missing here!! Where's the Beatles? The Moody Blues? Tommy James?..……… Some of those were great (the longer ones) for those slow dances......or......was something like Hey Jude (8+minutes) or Crimson an Clover just something one wanted on the radio for those evenings spent studying the stars while parked at the lake
