Yes, I signed that paper too. I panicked when they let my urine specimen set a day and didn't label it. I said how do you know its mine, that is not kosher. I was afraid someone might have substituted a dirty sample for my clean one. Thankfully it came back ok, but I notified pain management about it. I also worried I had taken aspirin with it. I'm about to just drop out, its causing me anxiety about whether they are going to stop the pain meds anyway no matter what I do. So thinking of just going cold turkey and forgetting it, I'm sick of jumping through their hoops. We had a nurse practitioner that was accusing a lot of elderly of just wanting drugs they eventually fired her. People were in the waiting room with legs that had been amputated, on crutches, could hardly walk, in wheel chairs, and she did that? So what, these folks are very old, crippled up from a lifetime of hard work or injuries and I thought that was just insulting. So if they were addicted at this point in their 70', 80's, and 90's, what difference does it really make if it made them more comfortable. There is something to be said about quality of life. No easy answers on this for sure.

Hubs says I worry issues to death, no I research every side of everything. That's why I'm so mad at myself about the recapture of depreciation, I knew better but guess I forgot. Obviously didn't research that enough.
Will talk to doc tomorrow, but I expect either no or no response.
When I go to pain management I'm going to ask for one more scrip then tell them I'm withdrawing from the program for now. If I can't handle it will reenroll later. That will give me the opportunity to try something different and not be subjected to worrying about getting kicked out for using something different. I have enough pills back I could drop out now. I have been trying to reduce the use of them as I don't like the way they make me feel so went to 1 325 mg tablet per day. That way I figured if I have to stop for whatever reason it will be easier for me to discontinue them, as I worry about getting dependent. The script says I can use 3 a day, I have only have 2 or 3 times in the years I have been taking them. No matter how bad I hurt I will not. The one day I took 3 I felt like I was out of it so will not do that. I certainly do see how people can get dependent on this stuff.

CBD is legal in all of the US. THC is what they test for as other people have stated. But that is interesting about the drug interactions with the medications you are taking and that is a good lesson to remember, just because it is labeled as all natural does not make it safe. Hemlock is all natural and it will still kill you.

Ok, talked to the nurse and doctor. My jaw dropped the nurse told me the other doctor in the practice has started telling people to use CBD oil. She said Walmart is already not dispensing opiods so like I told her, I know its going to end. And another nurse or aid in there I know came and talked to me to draw blood and she has been taking it for 2 months. She said she has inflammation in her liver and is trying it, not telling her specialist until she sees if its helping. She indicated it is not legal till July 1 here, I need to reread but thought the legislature made it happen March 1. My doc did not have a problem with it, I'm curtailing the hydrocodone, I don't take enough that I think it will be an issue and I will have any withdrawal from it and the arthrotec, if it bothers me may need to step down on it, we shall see. She does not want me to withdraw from pain management as she is afraid if I do and need it I can't reenroll. So there is that. She said try it, also was concerned about the huge bruises. I asked about the dosage as I read with this both are metabolized by the liver, she said yes it is, but she does not think I can reduce the dose of Plavix, she had no problem with dropping the baby aspirin as I am also getting nose bleeds and I told her that heart doc let me cut the Lipitor in half. I told her the stuff was just making me feel bad, tired, etc. She is testing my cholesterol to see if anything has happened with it and doing a complete blood panel. So good news, I guess. Can't believe I'm doing this. I'm concerned about the quality and whether the dosages are the same with various products. I noted on the one I got, no manufacturer, just distributed by, almost guarantee its made overseas.
Well drat, have to quit typing for a bit, getting my twitchy eye deal.

Yes, I was correct, it was legalized in Indiana March 1. Will see what happens over time, hopeful. Not sure what dose I should take, this is 50 mg.

Is pot legal in Indiana by any chance for medical use? If it is see if you can find a store nearby and go talk to the staff. I've talked to medical dispensers and they are very knowledgeable. Stay away from recreational stores those are the pot equivalent of Wal-mart.
You could also probably find online forums that could help you with the product.

No pot is not I don't think, but this oil is. I saw it at my pharmacy today when I went in on the front counter. No instructions, no dosage requirements, yep, going to have to read a lot. If it works docs and pharmacies are going to lose a lot of scrips, then you will see the price of this go out of sight. It was $29 for 30 pills, I didn't see the number at my pharmacy but was $39 and up.

This was March 21 of this year. They show a picture of the one I bought, its 50mg, I have read where that kinda sorta seems to be the dose, but they were saying increase till it helps, not quite sure about that.
Gov. Eric Holcomb signed a measure legalizing low-THC cannabidiol oil in Indiana Wednesday, after nearly a year of confusion over Indiana's laws.
Senate Enrolled Act 52 allows any person to buy, sell and possess CBD oil, as long as it meets certain labeling requirements and contains no more than 0.3 percent THC, the substance that produces a "high."
Some lawmakers, however, worried the bill's requirements were too stringent and would accidentally cut manufacturers out of the industry and cause prices to jump.
The bill is also silent on the legality of manufacturing the product in Indiana, which could lead to more legal debates in the future.
Holcomb, however, had no qualms about the act.
“Indiana lawmakers delivered a bill that ensures Hoosiers who benefit from CBD oil can access it," Holcomb said in a statement. "The bill provides much needed clarity, with labeling requirements and a 0.3% THC limit on CBD products."

The final version of Senate Bill 52 requires manufacturers to have each batch of product tested in order to ensure it has less than 0.3 percent THC.
The measure also requires any products sold in Indiana to have a QR code on the label linking to a document containing information on the batch, such as the ingredients and the name of the company that manufactured the ingredients.
That would require most CBD oil manufacturers to create new labels just to sell products in Indiana.
Nathan Renschler, the owner of a CBD oil manufacturing company, said his products manufactured in Fort Wayne would likely come close to meeting the requirements laid out in Senate Bill 52. However, his other two brands manufactured elsewhere would have to have their labels altered.
“To have all these companies including mine have special labels for Indiana, and the rest of the country we have a different label, is pretty silly,” Renschler said. “They don’t have any state regulations on any other vitamin or supplement, but this one gets special regulations and it’s not for any good reason.”
Lawmakers sought to clarify Indiana's CBD laws after a 2017 act legalized CBD oil for epileptic patients on a registry, but provided no way for those patients to purchase it.
State Excise Police used the act as justification to confiscate CBD oil products from nearly 60 stores over the summer months. In November, Attorney General Curtis Hill issued a legal opinion declaring CBD oil illegal in Indiana.
Rep. Matt Pierce, D-Bloomington, said they likely will have to fix the legislation yet again next year.
"We’re going to have to come back and fix this next year," Pierce said, "but we’ve got to at least get it legal."

My DH's VA Dr. wants to get him off as many prescription drugs as possible. She just recommended Hemp oil tabs/caps for him to try yesterday, she said they were available at Amazon for a reasonable price...I haven't checked yet. But she "should" know if there are any interactions with his meds....maybe I'd better do more research for him. They have changed his meds so much in the last yr. I haven't been able to keep up.
