My wife pointed out that this year I am 61 having been born in '57 and she will be 57 having been born in '61. First off, I was amazed her mind caught that. Anyone else have any weird thing like that to share.

I like those kinds of numerical amazement.
One I remember well and only 2 people appreciated this. A call out to an address like 111 First Street at 1:11 in the afternoon on January 11 with the call out number of 111000.
Too bad there was no lottery money collected!

I like these too My H and I are 5 years apart. My sons are 5 years apart. If you add the digits in my birthdate, it's the same as the sum of the digits in the birthdate of my older son. My brother's birthday is the same digits all across - x/x/xx. And it was the x day in the lunar calendar.

Anyone else have any weird thing like that to share. This will occur between any two people when their birth years sum to the current year modulo 100. So for example, my wife and I will have to wait until 2066. At that point, assuming we're both still alive, I'll have been born in '82 and be 84 years old, and she'll have been born in '84 and be 82.

Anyone else have any weird thing like that to share. My grandma and I have inverse ages every 11 years. She was born in '38, I was born in '83. In '88 she was 50 and I was 5, '99 we were 61 and 16, 2010 we were 72 and 27, 21 will be 83 and 38...

This will occur between any two people whose birth years differ by a non-zero multiple of 9. Suppose two persons' birth years differ by 9 n. In the case of you and your grandmother, 1983 - 1938 = 45, hence n = 5. Then n years after your birth, and every 11 years after that, your ages will be "inverse" in the way you suggest. The fact that the year (2021) that your age is equal to your grandmother's birth year (and vice versa) is also an "inverse" year for your ages is much rarer, and owes to the fact that your birth years are inverse to each other. It's not hard to see that all inverse pairs of birth years in the same century differ by a multiple of 9, hence the pair (38,83) is no more special than any other such pair, e.g. (49,94), but there are only 45 such inverse pairs out of 5050 possible birth year pairs, making it a rare property indeed. Unfortunately this means that Billis' own discovery is no longer impressive. ETA: Sadly, my inverse-birth-year-buddy Billis year has come and gone. On 2010, I was 28, born in 1982, while somebody born in 1928 would have been 82 at the time.

I doubt these fit into what you were looking for, but it's what popped into my dingbat head.
My aunt got married 4 months & 2 days before my mom did. My cousin got married 4 months & 2 days before I did. Neither of us realized it until our moms pointed it out.
Same cousin is 8 months older than I am. His daughter is 8 months older than my son. My cousin finally told me to stop copying him.
My mom's divorce from my dad was finalized on their anniversary 6 years later. September 24th.
My mom's oldest (me) and her youngest (my brother) always hit milestone bdays in the same year since I'm 10 years older than him. This year I'll be 50 and he'll turn 40.
without realizing it, I got married on what would have been my mom's parents 50th anniversary. They had divorced after 32 years.
My son was born on what would have been my great grandfather's 100th birthday. (he died many years before that)

My son was born on 5/30 at 5:30. Never gave that any though till reading this thread. Now my head is filled with numbers that don't mean diddly squat - thanks for nothing. I hate numbers!

My daughters were 4 and 8 last year and they realized that was the only time in their lives that DD1 would be twice as old as DD2. My boss is exactly 10 yrs older than me. We are similar in many different ways personally and professionally and tend to think alike so more than once she has stopped me mid-sentence and said stop, you're creeping me out. It's nice reporting to someone who understands me so well

Here's a spooky one: append the number of years billisonboard has been a YMAM member to his YMAM ID and you get: the current year! This has been the case every year he's been a member, and he's the only member for which it has ever or will ever be the case. (Unfortunately it will cease being true in 2020.) As for me: take my YMAM ID, multiply it by its first two digits, then subtract the product of its digits, and you get: 142 x 14 - (1x4x2) = 1982. My birth year! Prophetic. ETA: No, actually, I pooched the arithmetic. It's: subtract the sum of the last two digits. 142 x 14 - (4+2) = 1982.

You're a spooky one too. The only member on the board whose YMAM ID is the same as the number of characters needed to tag you: 13.

... (Unfortunately it will cease being true in 2020.) ... Do I need to get moon/Laura to give me special dispensation to stay at that point? Your only hope would be to travel back in time to the year 2000, have young Moon start up YMAM (which would be quite the challenge since Proboards didn't exist until late 2001), sign up as the 20th member (including Moon), and wait until 2010, at which point your special status would resume. Although, if we count time in your personal frame of reference, you have the simpler option of waiting until Dec 10, 2020, traveling back exactly 10 years to 2010 and quickly signing up as member #20 after Moon founds the board. Then you'll enjoy your special status until 2099. For example, upon reaching Dec 10, 2020 a second time, you will have collectively been a member for 20 years (albeit in two separate timelines), and your ID concatenated with your year count will be 20 | 20 = 2020.

as a kid I realized that my family of 5 had a weird thing with birthdays. my sis, dad and I would always fall on the same day of the week, mom and Nana would fall on a different same day of the week. our birthdays run April-December
a grade school friend was from a family of 6 (I think?) where every family member's birthday was the 21st of the month.

Anyone else have any weird thing like that to share. If my wife and I had stayed together we would have done the same thing a couple years ago. Too spooky to go through, so we split up instead.

My DH & I were married on 09/09/99 at 9am at the court house. We had one day for a "honeymoon". When we got home there was a message on the machine from the judge who married us. Our marriage had been recorded in the county book # II page 99...I = 9th letter of the alphabet! It didn't work for the lottery. But....if you added all the numbers on our marriage certificate, it totaled 49! I'm older than my DH...by 1 yr., 2 months & 3 days!...1, 2, 3!
My son's last 4 of his SS is my birth DAY & Year....but if you add those numbers ...first 2 equal his birth DAY, second 2 equal his birth MONTH.

What sort of person keeps a date around for 22 years? A good wine, yes...a good champagne, yes, a bottle of scotch, yes......but a piece of fruit?
