as i've stated on here before i work on a tug boat. my 3 sons all followed suit and today my 26 year old son got his approval from the coast guard to test for his pilot endorcement so hopefully he will be moving into a wheelhouse position after he completes his steersman time [about 18 months] does any one else have anything they are celebrating this week they would like to share?

My daughter began her teaching job at a charter school in the inner city, and is doing very well so far. She is the 7th teacher this year ( ! ) in that classroom, and the kids just want someone who will stay with them for the rest of the school year. We are very proud of her. She found out that not only will she be teaching them English, but also will be teaching social studies, math, and science. It's a good thing that she's not intimidated easily ;D.

Congratulations, when I was a girl I wanted to be a tug boat captain like Tugboat Annie. I still want a tugboat they are cool looking. One of the guys at work has a 19 year old daughter that got her pilot license last year, he was proud.
No accomplishments for me, same old same old.
