Don't laugh. I've had the email account for probably 20 years and, well, I haven't felt compelled to change to a different email provider.
I need to send some copies of emails to someone. I will be sending far too many to simply forward the emails. So, I created file folders in my email account for the emails and put the emails in the file folders.
Now, how do I send those AOL email file folders full of emails to someone via email?
I tried to save each file folder to my desk top and attach that file to an email, but the recipient can't open the file folders and it doesn't appear the individual emails are being sent -- it's almost like it's just a screen shot of top page of the file folder listing the individual emails by date.
Does this make sense to anyone? Does anyone know how I can accomplish this task...WITHOUT RISKING LOSS OF THE ACTUAL EMAILS??

If possible, can you copy and paste the emails into a dedicated Microsoft Word document and then forward the the Word document?

It would also take you some time to do so, but you could create a throw away email account and then forward those emails to that account.
Then give the recipient the user name and password to the throw away account and read the emails at her/his leisure.

Or can you use StuffIt or something similar to compress the folder(s) full of emails, giving you just the compressed folders to attach? I’m in a Mac, so that may not work on a pc.

I just ran across somebody on another website commenting on what I think is the same problem. Do you have Outlook on your computer? Follow these steps to get it set up on IMAP and then copy the emails into a PST file. You should then be able to send the PST to another Outlook user. If you don't have Outlook, Thunderbird is a free email client with similar functionality that you can download.
