I expect to hear about all the campaign promises he kept (ie all of them), how horrible the American economy was before he took office and how AWESOME it is now, how horrible it was that Americans were out of work before he took office but how now EVERY American has a good well paying job (because those evil illegal immigrants are being deported and legal immigrants are being turned away at the borders). I expect to hear how he solved the North Korean problem and the ISIS problem. I also expect to hear how he's making our trading partners treat us with the respect we deserve (we are no longer the World's doormat). I also expect there to be mention of how "his people" or some other "code words/euphemisms" for white people (who might also be rich) are taking back America and making it great again. I totally expect him to keep using phrases and examples that his White Supremacist friends/backers will understand.
I'm also sure he'll throw in some coded phrases that the very wealthy will understand as "they got the tax breaks they totally deserve".
I'm also pretty sure he'll throw in a "oh, yeah, God Bless America!" even if he has to return to the podium to do it.
I totally expect the speech to be filled with a lot of "wink wink nudge nudge" phrases/wording.

I'm hoping he does what he did last year and reads the perfectly prepared canned speech from the teleprompter, and everyone says "he sounded so presidential!"

I'm hoping he does what he did last year and reads the perfectly prepared canned speech from the teleprompter, and everyone says "he sounded so presidential!" This is exactly what I think will happen. Someone will write him a very reasonable speech, which he will read. The media will go bonkers about how well he did. The bar for Trump is so low, that it actually takes some pretty hard work to not clear it.

I haven’t followed hm, so am interested. I like that he spent two years in the Peace Corps. Not going to torture myself watching Stable Genius lie and lie and lie. We don’t have THAT much alcohol in the house.

I'm hoping he does what he did last year and reads the perfectly prepared canned speech from the teleprompter, and everyone says "he sounded so presidential!" He'll be an Obama II ? For one speech. Quote; Presidents have been using teleprompters for more than half a century, but none relied on them as extensively as Obama has so far. While presidents typically have used them for their most important speeches to the nation - an inauguration, a State of the Union or an Oval Office address - Obama uses them for everyday routine announcements, and even for the opening statement at his news conference.www.nytimes.com/2009/03/05/world/americas/05iht-prompt.4.20623004.html

I never understood the big criticism over Obama using a teleprompter. I wish Trump would use it more so he would stay on message and stop all the random thought that he can sometimes let stream out. He also might stop saying contradictory things or blantent untruths if his speeches are proofread and fact checked.

Satire from The Borowitz Report“Fox & Friends” Putting Finishing Touches on Trump’s State of the Union AddressBy Andy Borowitz NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—With just one day until Donald J. Trump’s first State of the Union address, the cast of “Fox and Friends” is working furiously on the final draft of the speech, members confirmed today. “We’ve really been burning the midnight oil,” Steve Doocy, the host of the Fox program, said. “We have so much to say tomorrow night, and we want to get it all in there.” Doocy said that when he read the first draft of the State of the Union address last week, he “kind of flipped out” when he realized that there was “absolutely no mention of Hillary Clinton’s Hydra-like tentacles controlling the Deep State.” “The State of the Union address is the President’s chance to tell the American people where the country is and where it’s going,” Doocy said. “You can’t do that without talking about how Crooked Hillary is funnelling her Russian-uranium riches directly into Bob Mueller’s bank account in the Seychelles.” While Trump reportedly has had input from other sources, including the Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, the conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and several neo-Nazi Twitter accounts, Doocy said that the cast of “Fox & Friends” has final approval of the version that Trump will read Tuesday night. “Someone has to have the last word,” Doocy said. “There are a lot of voices in President Trump’s head, and that’s not including the actual voices that are always in his head.” link

Wonder which movie I'll watch.
I'll get the highlights in the newspaper tomorrow morning.
Even though I voted for him ....... I don't like either looking at him or listening to him
My vote in 2020 depends on who the dems have on their ticket

I think anyone who voted for him the should be forced to watch him - and not be allowed to use the mute button.
