... Now that Congress failed to pass a spending bill to fund the government before the Friday midnight deadline, Trump is bunkering down in Washington until a deal is made.
"He's not leaving until this is finished," Trump's budget director, Mick Mulvaney, told reporters outside the White House on Friday.
Hey, if it drags on long enough we could save enough in travel expenses to balance the budget.

Actually, 100,000 only got you a picture with the president.
You'd have to fork over $250,000 to be able to participate in a 'round table discussion' with the president.
I had hoped this shindig would benefit an actual charity, but no - the president's re-election campaign, and the GOP organization.

I didn't compute the $250,000 into my calculations because I knew trump was not going to be at his 'It's All About Me' Mar-a-lago event as he was stuck in Washington using his bigly negotiating skills with Democrat and Republican leaders. Hopefully, the $250,000 crowd got some of their money back.

Lol! His tremendously bigly negotiating skills were notably absent. Washington (CNN)The big story coming out of the 2018 government shutdown was this: Where is President Donald Trump? Trump held no public events over the weekend, and while the White House insisted he was aggressively working the phones, it didn't appear as though the President -- the man who has touted himself as the greatest deal-maker in world history -- was making much of a difference. <snip> There's a simple reason for Trump's lack of active involvement: He doesn't possess any sort of deep policy knowledge on this issue and he is uninterested in educating himself on the finer points of the policy debates at work in the shutdown in order to have any sort of real influence over the way forward. www.cnn.com/2018/01/22/politics/trump-policy-shutdown-analysis/index.html

The "greatest deal-maker in the history of the universe" was nowhere to be found,
