It’d be easier to just not have that be a US territory anymore. Or revert to the previous travel visa requirements.
But yes, that’s annoying that people are doing that.

It seems the government is aware...doing what it needs to regarding these people...Also seems it's not necessary to go to the Island for these births...if they have the money, seems many come right to the States for these births. |

We don’t need a Constitutional ammendment. Just a simple change in immigration policy to require a visa. I can’t go anywhere in China without a Chinese visa. It should work the other way as well.

We don’t need a Constitutional ammendment. Just a simple change in immigration policy to require a visa. I can’t go anywhere in China without a Chinese visa. It should work the other way as well. Yes, you are correct, but the fact of the matter here in the states we have 10 to 15 million illegals, who as couples are popping out anchor babies. From the article about Siapan: ut for a certain class of Chinese parents, Saipan has become known as the latest hot spot for birth tourism, a place where women can give birth to babies who will automatically acquire U.S. citizenship.
The Northern Marianas, an island chain that includes Saipan, is the only U.S. soil that Chinese can visit without a visa, after a change in immigration policy in 2009 allowed Chinese and Russian tourists visa-free entry for up to 45 days.
“It’s just like if God opened a window for you,” said a Chinese father who works as a translator here after coming a few years ago to ensure his child would be born American.Please note it happened under Obama's watch in 2009, and I do not know if a simple Executive order can stop it. |

Se have a bear roaming in our neighborhood. He’s destroyed bird feeders, raided garbage cans and has us all afraid to walk outside at night.

I would like the law to be changed to read .......
Any child born on US soil will have the same citizenship as the BIRTH mother.
I'm a firm believer of the KISS method ...... Keep It Short and Simple ...

Or maybe citizenship should be decided at a certain age say 12-14 when the child should be asked certain questions and based on his/her answers they would acquire citizenship or be sent somewhere else for example on Tatooine to live the rest of their miserable decadent lives!
Just look around yourselves! The fact that one is born and raised in this country doesn’t always mean that one deserves to live in this country.
This country use to be the bastion of decency and equality and so on. It had been turned into something similar to Eastern Europe pre 1990 and honestly I can’t understand why are the Chinese taking advantage of that loophole in the immigration law? Don’t they see what’s going on here?
