Don't you want to hear the truth?  I get it that Trump is your hero, but there is too much "smoke" in his administration for there not to be fire.  And, if he IS dirty, like Nixon (or worse), and actually cooperating with our enemies, like Russia, he, or whoever is working with our enemies, needs to be GONE, for the sake of the USA.  That's why Mueller needs to stay, whether you like him personally or not.

 They knew he was a bizarre case when they voted for him but hoped the gravity of the office would help temper his more grotesque behaviors.

Instead it's been like meth. He wants to clean everything with a toothbrush even if it doesn't need it.

 The country will probably survive and the Trumpistas can always get some rehab for what this will do to their beliefs and opinions....starting in Jan. '19.

If that’s so then only the Congress can terminate Mueller’s investigation. The president can try but I’m not sure he wants to have the whole Congress against himself.

FWIW, I'm not bothered by this at all. What's insane is believing that Trump colluded with the Russians. It's insane to believe that he'll ever be impeached. It's absurd to see anything other than the Mueller investigation winding down and going away accompanied by the biggest shake up at the FBI in decades. It's insane that the average Democrat literally has no idea that the entire investigation is illegitimate and part of a coverup of Hillary Clinton's crimes with the aim of removing Trump from office and getting back to business-as-usual. That last part- business as usual in Washington? Never happening. This is the end for the swamp. Trump was the existential threat they needed to stop, but they failed. No. Really. You need to wake up if you think Mueller is "hot on the trail". Investigators "hot on the trail" don't start prosecuting the inner circle for petty shit. They start granting immunity in exchange for testimony. We already know from Flynn's allocution  that there's nothing forthcoming. It was a simple plea to stop the bleeding. They broke him. They did not stumble upon some key witness.And his plea deal makes it all the more difficult to explain why Hillary lied to the FBI 39 times and is walking around free. In fact, it so complicates her situation that if I were her, I'd be very worried about actually being locked up.

I'd ask for proof, but I'm not reading anything from Brietbart, the Conservative Treehouse or anything heard on Rush Limbaugh, so never mind.

It is interesting, though, how you have all this insider information about the Mueller investigation. Those things are legally supposed to be confidential until the investigation is finished. Anything anyone, liberal or conservative, says about how the Mueller investigation will turn out is 100% speculation, including what Rush bleets.

Face it, you'll have to wait along with the rest of us to see what happens.

(And by the way, it's a very common tactic for an officer of the law to reduce charges for a cooperating witness, but if the charges are serious enough, they don't walk away scott free. That's pretty much DA 101 - roll over on your buddies and you'll get a lesser charge. Or maybe we just prosecute you and let your son skip away with nothing).
