My 2004 Focus will hit 89,000 tomorrow or the next day. So far the only work it's needed is an annual oil change, one new set of tires, and I replaced the brake pads once. I'll take it in for a tune up when I hit 100k.

I've got a 2002 Jeep that just turned over 112358 on the odometer. I found the fact that I noted this pattern of numbers (Fibonacci sequence) to be hilarious, because I absolutely HATE math.

To answer the second part of the question, I would love to get 200,000 miles out of my car. I don't know how the body will last though. We have a lot of salt up here.

2002 BMW 525i bought it in 2006 with 32k miles. $23000. Current mileage is little over 140k. Car has been PERFECT for me. Still drives like the day I bought it. It's a freakin' tank!
Previous car - 1993 Altima. Did over 180k on her. Sold it to my friend for $500.

2002 Taurus: almost 160k 1998 Montero Sport: 200k
The 1998 is on borrowed time, but more because all that still works are the 4WD and the heat besides running. Since we were quoted over 2k to fix the A/C, it gets as little use as possible from April-October.

'91 Corolla, 205K (bought in '01 with 90K) '05 Focus, 75K (bought in '09 with 40K DH has four cars...three of them 18-20 years old, one over 200K and the other two just under. I think my Corolla is the only one running the original engine, though...He's a mechanic in his nonexistent spare time, which is how we get away with it
