If I find time today, I will see about buying a gun off the street , just to see how long it takes. Maybe not today, probably Friday or Saturday, That will be off the street, not thru a gun dealer,, Any bets on how long it will take? I will laugh at you if it's stolen and gets traced to you, or the seller is a narc or undercover cop. or if the weapon is tied to a murder...... you have to be stone cold stupid to buy a gun off the street.

Buying a gun off the street isn't even the easiest way to obtain one. It would be easier to purchase one on the dark web with a dead drop. Or, barring that, a well-planned burglary. If you have a few thousand dollars to spend on a high-quality fabricator, you could machine your own weapon too. Regulations mainly impact risk and convenience. Generally speaking, it's impossible to prevent a determined, free man from getting his hands on a firearm, but government can make it inconvenient and risky enough that only the most determined men will attempt it. Seriously, you think that O.C. would go into this unarmed and without backup?
