H. suggested going to Summit checking which is Aspiration Partners. Sounds sketchy. Pays 1% online. I checked for reviews. One said a scam from 11-16.
Purepoint pays 1.25% to 1.4%. Online only. A Mitsubishi company.
I found nothing current for bonuses to open accounts.
Anyone have any ideas?

I just opened an account at Synchrony Bank this week. Their savings pays 1.05%. It was pretty painless to sign up and fund it.

Synchrony Bank
Pentagon Federal Credit Union
Everbank
Ally Bank
All can be accessed online and opening accounts is easy peasy.

CIT bank pays a bonus on $15,000 on deposit for 45 days and pays 1.05 APY. New account to be funded by June 30 2017.
I know it's easy to put the money in but sometimes getting it out is difficult. I can't remember the example right now.
Anyone bank with them?

I opened an Everbank account recently. I need to hold some money in case I build the house next year, so put some in a CD and in a money market account there.
I can make 2% interest on up to $15k in my checking account at the credit union, but have to meet 12 debit card transactions to do it. I barely meet that for one account, but I could have done that with a second account if I wanted to aim for more debit card transactions.
ETA: Everbank money market earns 1.11%, CD rate is 1.39%
